I got invited here from RPGateway, like many of you, it seems. To be honest, I'm a little intimidated by the format here. Writing a masterpiece isn't really on my list of roleplaying priorities, I just enjoy playing with daydreams. That said, a smallish community of hand-picked roleplayers that are likely to be able to stick it out for a decent haul might be just what I've been looking for, since RPGateway apparently can't cut the mustard.

In other words, I have pretty high hopes for this place, and I look forward to meeting everyone and hopefully having a great time.

I wouldn't sweat the impression that because there's something of a quality standard that you should be worried about people lowering their monocles to get a better look at you before they sneer at you over their brandy snifter, it's a mistaken impression.
