Whoa, what? Donovan's gone? ...I'm not really sure that was necessary. The last time he posted was just 3 days ago now, 2 if you asked him to leave yesterday. This is the Casual RPing section, so really, it's not mandatory to have to reply each and every day. If he's okay with it, then I guess that's okay. But unless someone hasn't replied for a week or more and hasn't given any reason as to why they can't, then I'm not really sure it's right to just inform someone they can no longer be involved in the role-play.

I'm still undecided what to do with Corbin currently, but I'm considering now having him join up with Eternity's character, like you said, Lucian.

I think Corbin could use a little 'alone' time anyway - he seems to be overshadowed by Iris when they are together, and I would like to learn more about him. Homework

In all truths fate, I talked it over with Donovan, and he's got a lot on his plate with life right now, and was okay and understanding because he knew he wouldn't be able to post as often as we pleased.

Perhaps when life settles down, he may return.

But we talked it over and he said everything was fine Smile

I will be out of commission for a week starting Saturday - for 'The Pub' I think that it will be fairly easy to make Peter a background character for that space. (Have him hide somewhere while the others do some looking around?)
Lucian, if you have something that you would rather do let me know. (The unconscious thing is also always an option.)
Just let me know the best way to handle it.

Indeed there is a waiting list.

I talked to Eternity about Don before I made my decision and I felt he didn't need to worry about us heckling him to post, so it was a mutual decision and there is no harm, no foul.

As for new characters, keep in mind that this RP may serve as a prelude to other RPs.

Oh, and Kathryn, I looked over your character and she seemed really confusing to me. Perhaps it would be a good idea to revise her for this RP. I try to keep things as low fantasy as possilbe, though it seems like it never works out that way.

As for Peter, we could put him in hiding or protective custody while the Lycans start to poke around to find out exactly what's going on until your return. We will, however, need some information on how we'd go about doing that. Maybe there's an office building we could raid? Or perhaps people to interrogate? Just let us know so we're not left in the dark.

Another option is for the lycans to be captured by Eclipse at this point and Pete will be somehow separated - Or Pete can be captured and the lycans go after him.

I'm not really sure now whether or not my characters are contributing a whole lot to this role-play. For some reason, my writing in this RP has severely dropped, and I suppose it's because I'm just not feeling it. It has absolutely nothing to do with you guys, as you all have been writing fantastically, and the story is certainly getting more interesting. I think I just picked an awkward RP to drop these two characters of mine in and at a very awkward (and hard to role-play) time in their lives. (If you've read their bios, you might understand why that is.) I was just wondering if perhaps I should figure out a way to let my characters have had their turn now and move on to allow others who wish to join in, like Hank, the opportunity to do so.

Yeah. I think I misunderstood something when you said you wouldn't turn anyone away in your first post ((I took it to mean any kind of characters.)). I guess the mood of the role play really took a turn into Lycan/Vampire territory that basically excludes everything else, so, I think I'm going to remove myself from the waiting list.

Actually I agree with Kathryn. I'll admit, this is a great RP and there are several great writers involved in it, but I think it's taken an awkward direction.

This could be a good thing, though. I think if we all developed our characters a bit more we could start another 'Pub' RP in the future. As for now, though, I think it would be good to end this particular story and start with another.

I'm going through some personal stuff in my life right now, and a break from a large RP like this would do me good. So Fate, if you could, let's close, or delete, the RP and OOC. We'll make another one pretty soon guys.

I think that that's actually probably the best idea, with Donovan having gone, and then now with Aes leaving for vacation, and then myself feeling unimpressed with my writing, and so forth. I think that starting anew in the future is a great plan, which I support.

I will leave this thread up for a bit longer, just to make sure that everyone involved reads this. However, the role-play itself will have to be left, unless there's some real reason you'd like it to be deleted. We don't delete role-plays or usually lock them (in case they'd liked to be revived in the future). However, at the request of the RP starter, we can always lock them. So, if that's what you'd prefer, just say so. :]

However, I shall forever go down in FOG history as the founder of The Pub Series, FOG's first ever unscripted RP series. I'll have to make some rules, such as every character must be different. Like only one person can be a lycan, vampire, witch, ect... Except for humans that is.
