I am neglecting doing my 3D modeling. But our instructor is so cool. He doesn't actually start class until an hour after it begins. (We have 3 hour classes.) So, I'm sure he'll start instructing soon. I just want to be home so I can reply to my role-play!

Sitting in the firestation, looking at the clock which reads 2:40 am. I'm rubbing my eyes and wishing for sleep: though I've got another three hours to wait until the next relief gets in before that's possible. Have I mentioned that I'm tired? I'm also wondering if anyone saw the moon tonight; and if their view had the moon bright red like mine. Pretty amazing!

(And if anyone cares, and before I forget, keep your eyes out in August for Mars. Apprarently it'll be the closest to Earth on record, and the size of the moon Shocked

Good. God! *Is excited*.)

Uh-oh. Lol. Not the hoax mail again! Someone from my fiancé's work told him about Mars being as large as the moon this year, and feeling as if that were not possible, he researched it. Apparently, it is a piece of chain mail that goes out every year or so. It just keeps going around and getting recycled. If Mars was ever as large as the moon in the sky, we would probably all be dead. Laughing

Mars has a gravitational pull that's twice that of our moon.

Ahh, I dislike mornings. I just woke up not too long ago. Suppose I should make coffee.

I was really excited about the Mars thing too when someone at work told me about it. I was curious and searched for more details on it and unfortunately I found that it isn't really true. It's more of like a myth that's been circulating through emails since 2003. In 2003 Mars was actually really close to earth, closest it has been in a long time, but from what I read, it didn't appear the size of the moon.

It would be really awesome if this phenomenon were true, but I also think that if Mars was that close, it's gravitational pull might have some crazy effect on our planet.

I am drinking coffee now and about to go exercise for a bit before my shower. Then class for 3 hours. It's not that that I'm dreading though. It's my 4-hour-long Astronomy class tonight from 6-10.
