This idea didn't really catch on in another forum, so I'll try my luck here.

So it turns out this is another mythology RP, but the gods and goddesses won't be only from one ethnic group's myths. All of the Gods from every group of people's (the Greek, African, Native American, etc.) myths are all spending their eternities together in one divine existence. They are trying to find out who is the strongest god between them, and a select few have been sent down to Earth as immortal humans in different parts of the world (keep in mind, there is only one super-continent, Pangaea) to test their skills. The gods can either rise as rulers of the land or fight as warriors for a certain group of people (by groups I mean maybe the Early Africans, Europeans, Asians, etc.; they will resemble the people they are sent down to) to achieve one goal: they need to find a secret and very sacred temple in the center of the continent, which is believed to be the only source of the gods' knowledge on Earth. There can be primitive cities and kingdoms, but keep in mind this is the VERY old world so the dialogue and stuff like that will be very... proper, for lack of a better word.

I'll post the rest of the story/details depending on what response this gets.

Sounds interesting enough. Although I was hoping to be able to come up with my own God rather than to have to grab one from actual mythology- not that I mind it that much though.

So, is it possible to come up with my own God?

All gods are expected to be made up. It would be much too complicated to have to nab some from multiple mythology stories for some nations.
