Resistance of Cambria - OOC
Storyline
It has been two years since the Empire has gained control of the island of Creta. Many of its citizens have accepted the Empire through fear, but there are still those who wish to bring back the Kingdom of Cambria. A resistance group is formed to motivate the citizens to fight for their country back. Another year goes by and three people from 1000 years in the future are warped back in time after they read an incantation.
The three of them are forced to adjust to their new surroundings as they are found by the resistance members and thought to be spies by their strange clothings and technology. However, after realizing that these individuals are from the future the resistance plans to use them in an attempt to overthrow the Empire and reform the Kingdom of Cambria.

0714 B.G. - Kingdom of Cambria is formed. Sir Dominic becomes the first King of Cambria.

0642 B.G. - Town of Telin is burnt to the ground by Goblins.
0637 B.G. - War against the Goblins ends.
0364 B.G. - King Ramus II dies with no heir to the throne. Council of Elders is formed to rule the kingdom.
0000 B.G. - Gods arrive to the world and bring the gift of magic.
0291 A.G. - The Empire arrives on Creta Island. Empire soldiers begin to occupy towns.
0293 A.G. - War against the Empire begins.
0289 A.G. - The Empire gains complete control of Creta.
0287 A.G. - Resistance is formed to take back control of Creta.
0286 A.G. - Persons from the year 1286 A.G. are warped back in time.
0679 A.G. - Gods leave the world and magic is lost.
1286 A.G. - Three persons are sent back in time.
Setting
The country of Creta is an island that resides along the coast of one of the world's greatest Kingdoms, The Empire. After being formed by settlers they quickly formed their on Kingdom called Cambria. The northern part of the country is covered in tall mountains that contain an important minerals for exporting. The southeast section of the country is covered by a rough, sand swept desert that is home to many of the island's tougher creatures. The rest of the island consists of forests, plains, swamps, rivers and lakes.
Throughout this RP our characters will be visiting many locations. Feel free to use your imagination and create any place that you feel would be the next logical step in our story. We will be making up this country of Creta as we go along. If you feel that someone has created an illogical or just plain frivolous location then please post that your complaint here, and we can discuss how to deal with the situation.
An easy way to imagine this world is like a typical medieval fantasy world. There are many races and monsters that traverse the lands, such as; Humans, Elves, Dwarfs, Goblins, Dragons, etc. If you wish to use a race or monster that hasn't previously been used then please ask us if it is acceptable before posting.
The starting point will be right before the three characters are warped back in time after reading an incantation out of a book they find at a library.
Gods and Elements
Dracon (Fire) - God of Destruction
Vispin (Water) - God of Renewal
Haerma (Wind) - Goddess of Healing
Erich (Earth) - God of Creation
A character that knows the fire element will typically use their magic in offensive attacks.
A character that knows the water element will typically use their magic to disorient opponents.
A character that knows the wind element will typically use their magic to cure wounds/illness.
A character that knows the earth element will typically use their magic in defense.
These are by no means the final say. Each element can be used in any way the user wants, but those are its strong points. A character using Fire to heal will not have as much an impact as a character using Wind. I'm leaving the elements open up to the imagination to the people so please try not to go overboard. Magic is personal to each individual's personality so a character who is a hack-n-slash type would have more offensive, flashy magic.
As of right now the only restriction on magic is that it cannot be used to bring a person back to life.
If your character is from the future then they do not have magical powers. However they will be able to pick up weapons from the past and still fight.

Right now we are looking for a total of six people to role play. So far we have three people, including myself, that take up two past characters and one future character. I would like to try to keep the number even between the two groups, but if there is a lot of interest in this RP then we can make adjustments. Thank you.

Background: Rose grew up like any other girl on Creta, except for one thing. She had an unique tie to the past. Growing up, she only learned a few years of her family's past. After her grandparents passed away when she was ten, all the history was lost. As Rose got older, she started to drift away from her family. They thought she was crazy for wanting to know so much about the family. Her father even went as far as limiting her time visiting her Grandmother and Grandfather at the nursing home, so she wouldn't learn too much about the past. Rose wouldn't stand for it, and every day for eight years, she went to different libraries in Creta after school, hoping to find some trace of her family line. One thing she had learned from her grandparents that her real last name, was Lamont. It helped her in her search, and she hoped that one day, she could find out about her past the way her grandparents wanted her to.
Equipment: Rose has her backpack with school books, her cellphone which she keeps in her pants pocket, and the only library book that has the Lamont/Sebastian family name in it. She is usually seen wearing a comfortable pair of blue jeans, her crimson red tennis shoes with gold laces, and a single colored tee-shirt.

Background: Rin was born into a wealthy family while Cambria was still in control of Creta. At a young age it was obvious that he gained the element of wind, and was ordered by the King to be trained for their army. Being a pupil of one of Creta's most profound swordsman he spent his childhood with a sword in his hand. When the war between Cambria and The Empire started Rin's parents were captured and publicly executed for being strong monetary supporters for the army. Seeing his parents death through his own eyes caused his personality to become introverted, and his battle techniques changed as well. With the use of his wind magic he is able to attack more quickly and aid others who are injured. He is one of the founding members of the Resistance and will stop at nothing to bring justice to his parents.
Equipment: Rin carries with him a one-handed double-edged sword that belonged to his old master. A small dagger is sheathed to his chest for whenever he doesn't have his sword readily available. His philosophy is to attack fast so Rin tends to wear light armor that barely restricts his movement. A small rucksack is attached to his lower back that contains many supplies and items that help with his survival.
