Okay. Well, as you know, Loki is resident prisoner at Stark Tower. All the Avengers live there. He lives with Bruce because he is the only one patient enough to deal with him. Loki isn't allowed to leave, and he's been there for a good while now, and as you can imagine, it gets pretty boring. So he and Bruce get along pretty good, and Bruce negotiated with Nick Fury to give Loki some time to get out. Fury agrees, but Bruce and Steve have to go with him.
