Just FYI, there might be a little bit of site madness as I transfer files from one host to another in the next few days. If stuff gets a little crazy, hopefully it will be resolved as quickly as possible.

Also, any idea what KIND of troubles might be headed our way? Even if only temporarily. I remember one site that had the small problem of it's threads just becoming empty, which was kind of hilarious... I mean, it got fixed a few days later, but still. On an RP Site I thought it was worth asking about, haha.

Kathryn, I'm moving everything from HostNine to SolaDrive.

Ever since my website went down the day of my interview, I've wanted to switch to a different host. I finally got around to doing it almost a year later . I have some new stuff that's going to happen with my personal site and I wanted to find a more reliable host that offers different options for the future.

I read a ton of reviews and looked at a bunch of different hosting companies. SolaDrive seems like a smaller company, but they have only positive feedback. We'll see how it goes. If I have to switch again, I'll probably just manage my own VPS [server].

Dreamless Days, that would be scary! I don't expect anything like that to happen. I think the tabs on the side and maybe some images might disappear.

Haha Ghost what did you have in mind? I can't really move the forum from good ol Forumotion.

He's not moving this site. He's moving his personal site, where some of FOG's site images are uploaded to. (For example, if you rightclick the above banner, you can see it belongs to http://fog.anthonywilhelm.com ). So, some of these things might disappear for a bit until he gets it all worked out. All of our writing is safe.

Yeah I was just being funny, Axiom. I knew what you were really doing. I know Forumotion doesn't allow you to just up-and-move to someone else. They are jealous gods.

I was originally going to explain that you meant to be changing image hosts and that the backgrounds, tabs, and maybe a few icons would be caught in a temporary state of quantum flux in a hole in the space-time continuum, buuuut.... I knew the rest of the community would be smart enough to figure that stuff out. It's not rocket science or anything.

It took longer for me to figure out what was going on than to write the simple explanation. Perhaps next time it would be more worthwhile to lend a helpful hand instead of a silly joke.

Not everyone pays enough attention to things to know the site is linked to Forumotion and those who 'own it' can't just jump hosts whenever they wish, Ghost. That last post with the assumption and wink was actually rather offensive. Personally I would have expected better. Particularly when there were a few people who posted before you asking questions that point out they didn't comprehend exactly what Axiom was talking about.

I apologize for not being more clear. Only minor things are being moved (ie. some images and scripts for the custom navigation). The forum itself will remain where it is with Forumotion.
