What does a Fadeview do? Empty What does a Fadeview do?

Post by Fadeview Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:06 am

Hello, all. I am a 20-year old male from somewhere in America. I've been roleplaying since about 2004, and the site I once called home is now deceased and left rotting. I hope you do accept immigrants, I believe all my papers are in order.

Now, what about me?

I am:
A dreamer
A hoper
A paper-plane thrower
A whistler
A hummer
An occasional guitar strummer
A griever
A weaver
An avid faerie believer
An admirer
A try-er
A magic-bean buyer.

What I am not:
Someone who makes rhyme schemes for fun A liar, a thief, or an "average guy".

Now, what else do you wish to know?

2004 is when I got my start as well. ^_^

Welcome to the FOG, Fadeview! cheers
You're in good company with the poetry. Wink
It is almost a kind of sorcery.
All that scheming and rhyming
Just to better one's entrance and writing.
Go you! Clap

What other things do you like? Favorite books, games, movies?
Any cool role-playing experiences you'd like to share? Very Happy

Looking forward to seeing some of your writing!
Do enjoy your exploration of the site, and if you have any questions along the way, please feel free to ask! Right here in your intro thread is a good place, while we're all getting to know you anyway.

Welcome again, and happy eliteracy! cheers

Why thank you, Kalon. I am a huge fan of H.P. Lovecraft, but other than his wondrously nightmarish works, my favorite novel is "I Am The Messenger" by Markus Zusak. As for music, I've got a soft spot for mellow rock and 90's music. And Classical. God, I love Classical.

And my favorite roleplay experience has to be from a non-canon RP fight I had ages ago. We ended up destroying roughly half the world in a one-on-one fight (these were both our oldest characters, the manifestation of Strength versus a conduit for Creation itself). The ref called it because it was beginning to threaten the actual integrity of the universe we had it in. XD

Hi Fadeview! Welcome to FoG. I think you're going to love it here. Your creativity certainly shows that right off!

We're all a pretty friendly bunch, love the different and slightly skewed and welcome anyone that might help us take over the Universe. Conduit for Creation, you say?

I am Digital Muse, I've been RPing for simply ages and I can attest to some of the insane talent you'll have the joy of writing with here.

Welcome to the Mists!

Classical music, FTW! High Five

That and other instrumental music is my cup of tea, my bread and butter, AND my candied almonds.
Orchestra, symphonies, Epic music... *sigh of penultimate* happiness*

That sounds like a pretty epic fight! Very Happy
Do you have it recorded somewhere? If you have a link, or if you want to post it up somewhere like in the Written Works & Journalism section, I'm sure a number of us would love to read it. ^_^

* (sigh of ultimate happiness is reserved for a number of other things. I just didn't want you to think I was misusing "penultimate." xD)
