I'm new too. I write and I art.

I don't bake though; I have a microwave. If only I could convince the microwave to give me cookies...

What kind of art do you do? Is your avy an example?

Mostly I draw -as a hobby, you know? Don't scoff, but I'm actually sweet with a box of crayons. I also like ink. And I have been known to mess about in Photoshop, though that has been awhile. I'm prone to 'shopping character sketches when I get involved with an RP.

Haha, other than baking I'm nearly useless in the kitchen. I'm just a cupcake kind of girl .

As for my "avy" no it's not really my style of art, it's just a similar to a tattoo I plan to get. I'm more of an acrylic, watercolor, pastels, and film (photography) gal. Like you it's mostly a hobby. I doodle and what not but I mostly stay in the traditional elements. However, I praise anyone who can use photoshop, I fail everytime just trying to edit photos.

The same goes for me, I feel like I can't start up a RP unless I have a good idea of what my character looks like with a picture, and that's where I draw -no pun intended- my inspiration.

I've recently started reading some of the classics. I've got a whole book of Jane Austen, and David Copperfield by Charles Dickens (Lord how I love him). But, I'm always interested in any suggestions. I was reading some posts and I saw that "A Princess of Mars" -is that what it's called- was recommended, I may read that.
As for movies, I'm big movie lover. However, I just recently went and saw The Avengers (I'm a big Marvel and DC fan), it was pretty good as a movie.
Right now I'm in the middle of re watching the Big Bang Theory, and I'm close to finishing the Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009) series, both are amazing.
