I'm horrible with poems! For school, however, I had to write one about a book I read so I picked up some random martial arts book from the library. This is the product:

Swift movements,
Cutting like a knife
Through the air.
Tense in the face of danger
But under the branches,
There is none.
Leaves rustle to the rhythm of which I move
My feet land on the ground in peace
I the practice under the tree
