Greetings everyone,
For those who don't know me, let me introduce myself.
You can call me Sin, and I was born and am currently living in Australia - this means I'll be on at extremely late and weird hours. I value a good role play over most things (including my school grades -.-') and my favourite genres are probably Fantasy and Post Apocalyptic, though I do enjoy a semi-realistic setting every so often.
I go by the same name on RPG, so some of you probably already know of me.
Anyway, thank-you Fate Foretold for the invite - hopefully I'll be around more in a few days once I've finished my first semester.

Re: Greetings everyone,
Hah! First one.
Actually this is the first welcome I'm going to send out, I'm still rather new myself.
So, welcome aboard!
Finally someone else with weird times compared to the rest. You're not alone in this.
So, check some RPs out, rage in the creative sections and spam-post in the forum games. Overall, enjoy your stay.
greetings - Kaito

Re: Greetings everyone,
Hey Kaito, thanks for the warm welcome - I feel privileged to be the first!
I'm glad I'm not the only one up at this hour, usually I miss out on all of the action because of it. By the time I log in everyone else is fast asleep. On the other hand I work best when things are quiet, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise?
Either way, I'll be sure to snoop around a bit and hopefully add something to this great little community. I'm sure we'll run into each other again pretty soon.

Re: Greetings everyone,
Hi, Sin. Welcome to FOG!
That's neat that you live in Australia! I'd love to go there someday. (Hopefully) I'll be close (in New Zealand) for my honeymoon. I think Australia would be a really nice place to live. Plus, you guys have kangaroos!
Post-apocalyptic role-plays always tend to be epic.
You're definitely welcome for the invite, and I hope that you enjoy yourself here.

Re: Greetings everyone,
Hi there Igraine and Fate - thank-you for the lovely welcomes!
New Zealand is amazing, it would definitely be a great place for your honeymoon. You could always swim over to us for a little while...?
Hah, Kangaroos, we always tend to be associated with them at one point or another. I remember I was even asked whether I rode in it's pouch in order to get to school. So, just to clear that up - I take the bus like everyone else.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing you guys around.

Re: Greetings everyone,
Bah but the bus is boring. Except when a drunk hobo is in it. Then all sorts of adventures can play out! All usually ending up with him getting his hobo ass kick off the bus.
Anyways. G'day! Heh get it. Ok but seriously welcome to FoG.

Re: Greetings everyone,
Our bus driver kinda resembles a drunk hobo... should I be worried?
Oh, that one was tricky, never would have picked up on that. Heh, but thank-you for the welcome.
And by the way, I love your avatar. I couldn't read it earlier because I'd only just woken up, but now that my eyes adjusted it's clear as day. It's nice. Very nice indeed.

Re: Greetings everyone,
Thanks you. I like yours as well.
The driver is a hobo?....Things must be worse in Australia than I thought.
I seem to be a supplier of Deadpool funness so here have one for free.

Re: Greetings everyone,
They are indeed. I think the kangaroos are planning something actually. I went to take the clothes down off of the line outside the other day, and they were gone. Then just this morning I see one bouncing past the house... wearing nothing but my mother's pantyhose. D:
Maybe they're in on it with my bus driver? Hm...
Oh gawd, that's awesome! Deadpool is now my idol.

Re: Greetings everyone,
Hm. Girl roughly my age--check. Australian, meaning an Australian accent (roughly 3rd-sexiest in the world, 1st being Irish and 2nd being Russian)--check. Into roleplay--check.
You never realize how kinky some personality combinations are until you really look at them.
Hi, I'm Fluffy ^_^ Sorry if I creeped you out. Kathryn and Iggy and maybe Eternity will now start to explain my presence here, usually using something along the lines of "he's adopted." I'm a sexy kiwi, and I'm on a boat motherfucker, don't you ever forget.

Re: Greetings everyone,
-noms on the cookie- Why thank-you Kaislynn, I'll be sure to take a dip with you sometime.
Hello there Fluffy! Nah, it's pretty difficult to creep me out. The group I hang with mainly consists of perverted males so I'm used to it. 'sides, you made a Lonely Island reference, and that's one of my favourite songs - I like you already.
Hey Gunneh, love your avatar/signature combo, nice! Thanks for the welcome.

Re: Greetings everyone,
My explanation of Fluffy-kins is that he likes to play pretend that he's creepy and manly, but he's not. He's just a fluffy, cuddly bird.
Welcome to FoG, Sin. We're relatively good people here, and we're made of awesome, so you should have no trouble making yourself comfortable.

Re: Greetings everyone,
That's good to know then, 'cause I can handle fluffy & cuddly birds.
Thank-you for the welcome Kathryn. I'm really liking this place so far, you've got a good community here. By the way, I love it when Kathryn is spelled like that. One of my favourite authors goes by the name of Kathryn Lasky. When I first saw your username it instantly reminded me of her. I actually had to look twice.

Re: Greetings everyone,
OMG! That's crazy. ^o_o^ That makes me laugh.
I was named after my great-great-grandmother or some such... She was dead before I was born, but it was either take the name of a relative, or go with Olivia, and my mom chose the former. Also, my middle name came from a piece of fabric on a dress. =3
What sort of books does she write?

Re: Greetings everyone,
For a moment I thought we had a famous author in our midst, but maybe that will be you in years to come? I think I prefer Kathryn to Olivia, or would prefer to be named it at least.
Hah, that's cool, it's great when there's something quirky to your name/s.
Only Fantasy I think, I've read one series from her, the "Guardians of Ga'Hoole" books. But that was a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure they're directed at an audience of 10-13ish. I haven't had a chance to re-read them all, so maybe they would suit more mature people as well. All I can remember is that I absolutely loved them.
You wouldn't think that a plot revolving around owls could be any good at all, but they were. Very creative with a wonderful storyline. There's a movie coming out soon as well, with Warner Brothers. That should be... interesting to see. I'm actually a little anxious to see how they've done it. It could either be horrible or amazing, I'm hoping it's the second. :s

Re: Greetings everyone,
I KNOW!!! The teaser trailer I found on YouTube made it look like there will be really awesome effects even if the rest is made of fail. I'm afraid of Shyamalan's version, but I really have hope that it will be a success.
