Concerning Newbies

Well, well. Greetings, I suppose. 
As an experienced writer only in such places as schools and my own computer, being on a site intended for this sort of role-play is indeed rather intriguing. Please allow me to apologise for the quite obvious, and annoying, formality of this text, as I have recently been trying to write with less 'slang' and whatnot. Ergo, I bid thee gracious welcomes to my introductory thread. Oh ho ho.
And am I the only one who really loves this font?

This is a great place to develop one's writing, no matter what stage of advancement you're in.
Have fun exploring the site! There's a lot to do and see around here. The animated navigation bar at the home page is a good place to start, since it'll take you to all the information and rules and things.
You'll probably be able to tell pretty quickly how things are organized, but if you have any questions about anything along the way, do feel free and encouraged to ask. ^_^ We're pretty handy with answers around here.

Welcome to FoG! If you like good RPs then you have come to the right place. Don't worry about your formality in your posts. Once you get comfortable you will create your own style. Anyway, if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask and enjoy your stay.

everyone. I didn't think I'd get such a warm welcome.And it's true, I've never had one continuous style in writing or drawing, so I'd really like to find that this site may help me find one.
I'll do as suggested and look through the rules some more. And lurk. A lot.
