Atten-SHUN! (Sorry, couldn't resist, because of your name... xD)
Welcome to FoG, Colonel Autumn. As it so happens, I already like you because autumn is my favorite season. Well, that, and you have a military connotaton to your name.
I am one of your friendly IC moderators here on FoG, and it will be my absolute pleasure to help you and/or answer any of the questions you may have, as will the rest of the staff and our ever so helpful members!
Again, bienvenue to FoG, CA, and I look forward to seeing you on the threads!

Welcome to the FOG, Colonel Autumn!
What sorts of things do you like? Besides colonels and autumn? Writers, books, movies?

Thank you for the warm welcome and I look forward to seeing you around on the forums as well.
I like the fallout and killzone games quite a lot, as rps go I enjoy superhero ones, epic fantasy, post apocalyptic, and pretty much everything else at least once.
I can say that I loved the recent Captain america movie and that I recently saw several very funny comedy movies. Stephen King is my current favorite author but also up there is Harry Turtledove, The author of the Song of Fire and Ice books whose name escapes me, and Taylor Anderson.

George R. R. Martin.
I've read Harry Turtledove, too! His "Darkness" series as well as his Tale of Krispos trilogy. Awesome. ^_^

Re: The Colonel's Greetings
Welcome to FoG, Colonel! Would you prefer I call you by your title or your name (Autumn)? I think Colonel sounds manlier, personally, but either could definitely be effective!
Sadly, I haven't read anything by those authors with the exception of Stephen King, but I have had people recommend them to me, so I definitely want to read them. However, I have seen the Game of Thrones show, have you? It's really good, and I've been told it follows the series really closely ((at least the first book since that's all the first season was)).
I'm sure you'll have a blast here!

Re: The Colonel's Greetings
Thank you again for the well wishes.
I prefer Colonel myself, though both are fine to call me.
I haven't seen the show for Game of Thrones though i do plan too, it looked very interesting to watch even having read the books and if it does follow the book closely it would probably be very good indeed.
