I've practically become obsessed with my G22 installments and have been thinking of ideas for new stories to write after I finish up with G22: Avalon. Currently, I'm treating the organization's history and missions in a manner similar to Superman Meets Batman, where two entities of completely different universes clash together for a time or two and then split up again. In the case of Unclassified and Avalon we have G22 (a secretive intelligence organization that operates on a global scale, inspired by the organization in the video Alpha Protocol: An Espionage RPG) meets the mysterious island of Caligo (the FoG original role playing setting).

What I'm looking for right now are some geniuses out there that can come up with workable, wow-ing ideas for future stories with this organization. The idea I currently had in mind seems very far-fetched, but nonetheless doable: G22 comes into contact with two original characters from Final Fantasy XIII. As I said... far-fetched. But shoot, if a black ops commando specialist can meet Charlie the Ghost, then why the hell not, right?

So... any ideas for story plots or other "universes" that G22 can meet up with?

Oh whoa, what a concept... Very Happy

Hm, right now you're in 2050, right? You could connect with the origins of Star Trek. xD

Or hey, whoa, your Avalon inspired a thought. The "real" Avalon seems to have been the Canary Islands off the west coast of Africa, and those are due east of the Bermuda Triangle. In Avalon, it is said the grains and fruits grow themselves, and people live for hundreds of years. Sound familiar? What if Morgan le Fay was Caligoan, and Excalibur was made of alien metal? Other locations have been suggested for Avalon, and they range quite far. It wouldn't even be all that much of a stretch to say that Caligo could even actually BE Avalon. xD

Back to ideas, though... there's always Marvel. ^_^ Most of that's in New York.

Out of burgeoning curiosity, how in the world were you going to meet up with Final Fantasy?? xD

A good thought, but alas, I'm not much of a "Treky" (is that even how you spell it? Haha!). I don't know the first thing about the Star Trek universe.

Believe it or not, I was actually playing around with that idea at first. Arthurian legend is one of my favorite areas of study, and I've considered going with a Tomb Raider-esque approach with a portal being built by the "gods" from ancient Britania to Caligo. The only problems with that idea are 1) it's already been used, as stated, and 2) why in the world would the "gods" want such a contraption when Caligo was pretty much their own rat maze.

However, I'll still play around with that particular concept, so thanks for suggesting it.

Eh, I think that would be too much of a play off of S.H.I.E.L.D., that and it would only cause a much undesired conflict with the much-anticipated Avengers movie... which is taking too freaking long to put together! Hear me out American movie producers! We're getting impatient and are already rounding up the pitch forks! You better not disappoint us like you did with the first Hulk movie! That sucked donkey balls!

>_> .... Calm down, James. Calm down.

I would love to explain that (as I've got the perfect explanation that would make Michael Crichton come back from the grave and say "Holy crap! I've got an idea for another book!"), but it would give away a huge spoiler.

Hm... Planet of the Apes! No? In that case, what about Aliens/Predator? Or AVP?

Haha! Planet of the Apes... XD

AVP sounds fun; I'll have to write that one down, too. It would be the easiest of the ideas so far.

Edit: You know, I didn't see this before, but apparently there's supposed to be a FF XIII - 2 coming out soon. If that's the case, then I'm not so sure anymore about making this story happen. I have a pretty good back up story to kind of lead off of Avalon, however, so it's not all that bad. Then again, I may just say "screw it" and write the Final Fantasy story anyway. We'll compare the two later and see which one is better. Laughing (Of course, I won't have any fancy Japanese graphics in my story... you'll just have to use your imagination! Ha!)

Yeah, Predators are always looking for worthy foes, and Aliens... well they just always tag along somehow.
