Shall we get started then?
Hello there, one and all! I am not very big on a lot of personal information right off the bat, so I will skip all of that junk. You can call me...well, whatever strikes your fancy, I suppose--as long as it is within good taste. ^.-
I have been doing these forum RPG thingies for years upon years. I have to say that I found these a great outlet for creativity and the urge to write. I do not flock toward any particular genre of RP, I think...maybe a serious, not so serious, yet fun that is also seriously fun...if that makes any sense...which I tend not to at times... o.O
Anyway, I draw inspiration from all over the place: books, movies, music, anime, etc...I guess that's about it...? If you have any questions, just let me know. I will be happy to answer them. And, I am excited to begin roleplaying with all of you lovely people. ^.^

Well you're right, that did not make any sense what so ever. And that's good! (Jk, it made a bit of sense... sorta. )
Is it ok if I call you btm? Or, better yet, Batman? I mean, who doesn't want to be called batman?!
Welcome to FoG, Batman! I hope to see you around the boards. Until then, cheerio!

Welcome to FoG, BehindTheMask!
We're always glad to receive experienced RPers and I am looking forward to seeing you around the IC. Out of curiosity, what are some of your favorite anime series?

Hey, there, BehindTheMask! Interesting name. I wonder what exactly is behind the mask now...? (Makes me think of Phantom of the Opera.)
I hope you enjoy role-playing here! Just let me or any of the moderators know if you have any questions.

Welcome to FoG, BehindTheMask! Hmmm...can I call you Mask for short? It has a nice ring to it, I think...
I definitely know what you mean by role-playing being a great creative outlet, and you're definitely in the right spot to get even more of that with a bunch of other great writers. I hope you enjoy your stay, and please ask if you have any questions! I guarantee we'll be tripping over each other to deliver the lengthy, detailed answer first!

....Masky. That is your name now.
Welcome to FoG, bro-.... Had to stop myself from saying 'Brony'. >>
ANYWAY. I hope you can make this your new roleplay home. I know what it's like, jumping from site to site. It's hard to put down roots if you don't know many people. But, this is a very accepting place. :3
Again, welcome.

Re: Shall we get started then?
Hello, everyone! Well, I shall accept these nicknames and all of the responsibilities that come with them. ^.^
Loki: Some of my favorite anime series have to be FLCL (yes, even though it is only six episodes...six glorious episodes), Cowboy Bebop, Miyazaki movies, Vampire Hunter D, Trigun, Fushigi Yugi (manga), Angel Sanctuary (manga), Saiyuki, SoulEater, Wolf's Rain, Noir, Love Hina (manga), Elfen Lied, Samurai Deeper Kyo (manga), Godchild (manga), um....etc? That's definitely more than I thought I could list. There are others, but this list can't last forever. ^.- What are some of your favorites?
Shadow Moonseye: Well some of my favorite books are Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift, pretty much any book by Agatha Christie, A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, of course the Harry Potter series and LOTR series, A Density of Souls by Christopher Rice, The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly, The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, um...and that is a pretty sufficient list. There are so much more (I'm a reader) that consist mainly of literature and random books. Got any favorites yourself?
Fate Foretold: I have to say that Phantom of the Opera is a great book and also one of my favorite musicals. ^.^
Everyone here seems so nice and friendly, so hopefully I will end up running into everyone again soon.

Actually it makes perfect sense; but only to the senseless; such as myself, who has enough sense to understand that he, in fact, has no sense.

Re: Shall we get started then?
I prefer to think of it as bright bronze.
Nice username, BehindTheMask!!
Behind this mask is....
Ahanother mask!!
Pretty cool, huh?! xD
Free fortune cookies and Ichiraku Ramen if you can name the reference! ^^
Welcome to the FOG, Kashy!
You're definitely in the right place for eliterate role-playing. I guess everyone already said the welcomes, so I hope to see you around! Happy writing, and enjoy the swirly mists!

Must...resist...urge...to name the reference! (I'm assuming this challenge is for BehindTheMask, so I'm refraining, even though it's my single favorite moment in the whole thing-that-is-being-referenced!)
Hope you're enjoying yourself so far and staying away from wayward conspiracy-laden candy!

Re: Shall we get started then?
You get candy! Shh! xD
And you can join us when she guesses it. My treat. ^^
Oh here, you can have this fortune cookie, too. 1 sec.
*cracks it open*
*squints* "Never, answer, riddles, unless, they're, online."
Hm. *hands it over*
Here, have another one, since I opened it. *hands over*
Maybe I'll have one, too. Let's see...
*cracks one open* *squints* "Keep, away, kites, and, stay, home, indoors."
Hm. What are these?

Er...um...
I feel I should know this, but alas, I cannot think. No fortune cookies or ramen for me. v.v
I'll probably know it/recognize it when you tell me and then I'll smack myself in the forehead for not getting it.

Re: Shall we get started then?
That's okay. *pat, pat*
Oh, wait, how'd I miss the misspelling? I must have thrown you off.
The full quote is:
"Behind this mask....
*pause for suspense*
...is another mask!
Pretty cool, huh?"
You still get ramen for trying though. 1 sec.
Silvan? Would you like to do the honors? ^_^
Actually, BehindTheMask, if you're fast and you look closely at the fortunes in the cookies, you might find another clue before Silvan brings the reveal. ^^
