Fate Foretold wrote:The name Grimalkin, used for one of the Shade species in Caligo, is actually a real word, also called greymalkin, which is an old (often female) or evil-looking cat. During the early modern period, the name grimalkin - and cats in general - became associated with the devil and witchcraft. Women tried as witches in the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries were often accused of having a grimalkin.
Grimalkins for the win. We have historically backing.
Wiccan views on theology are numerous and varied, the vast majority of Wiccans venerate both a god and a goddess. These two deities are variously understood through the frameworks of pantheism (as being dual aspects of a single godhead), duotheism (as being two polar opposites), hard polytheism (being two distinct deities in a larger pantheon which includes other pagan gods) or soft polytheism (being composed of many lesser deities). In some pantheistic and duotheistic conceptions, deities from diverse cultures may be seen as aspects of the Goddess or God.[6] However, there are also other theological viewpoints to be found within the Craft, including monotheism, the concept that there is just one deity, which is seen by some, such as Dianic Wiccans, as being the Goddess, whilst by others, like the Church and School of Wicca, as instead being genderless. There are other Wiccans who are atheists or agnostics, not believing in any actual deity, but instead viewing the gods as psychological archtypes of the human mind which can be evoked and interacted with.

Pure water is a poor conductor. On the other hand, salt water is an excellent conductor.

The .45 ACP (11.43x23mm) (Automatic Colt Pistol), also known as the .45 Auto by C.I.P., is a cartridge designed by John Browning in 1904, for use in his prototype Colt semi-automatic .45 pistol and eventually the M1911 pistol adopted by the United States Army in 1911.

There have been 5 official Robins to wear the mantle beside Batman:
1. Dick Grayson - a boy acrobat who became Nightwing. The goodie-two-shoes.
2. Jason Todd - an orphaned redheaded acrobat who Batman adopted. He was killed by the Joker, in a warehouse, with the crowbar. He came back to life, but it turns out he's a jerk who should have received therapy from the beginning.
3. Tim Drake - a boy detective who discovered Batman's secret identity (and a few other superheros). Co-founded Young Justice (next generation Teen Titans). Became Red Robin.
4. Stephanie Brown - Used to be Spoiler. Tim Drake's girlfriend. Started a gang war, got tortured and killed. And then apparently not-so-killed. Became Batgirl.
5. Damien Wayne - son of Batman and Talia al Ghul, raised in the League of Assassins. Violent little wretch. Got some sense beat into him by Nightwing.
