To Test a New Character

Okay everyone...
I have a new ( more of a revamped ) character that I seriously need to work on. The only thing is, I have no idea what I want to use her for.
Name: Fiere Sullivan
I seriously want to play with her but I have no idea what I want to use her for!
Part of me wants to make her some sort of alien, a mermaid trapped on dry land, a werewolf or some kind of demi-goddess but I'm just not sure.
I want to use her in a DINOSAUR roleplay! Either something based around Jurassic Park or maybe instead of a zombie apocalypse, the dinosaurs come back to life and attempt to take over the world. ( the latter would obviously be a bit more...comedic... xD )
Anyone? Dinosaurs? Pwease?

Hmmm...Only if it gets the cool Jurassic Park theme song to go with it 
Not a genius on the Scientific names and such of dinosaurs, but i know the basics and am willing to give it the old college try!

So...
This story takes place ten years after The Lost World ( the one where they catch the dinos to take back to the US for a theme park there ). Timothy Murphy ( Hammond's grandson from the first movie ) has taken over InGen after the company being out of commission for almost six years. Timothy wants a group of scientists to return to Isla Sorna ( where the original takes place ) to return to the original Jurassic Park compound to retrieve some data that may still lie dormant in the computers there. If he gets this data, Tim thinks that he could safely bring a new breed of dinosaurs to the US without the incidents that happened ten years ago happening again.
My character is the daughter of one of the scientist and is allowed to come along after proving she can survive on her own if need be.
You character can be whoever you want him to be. I'm thinking age range is anywhere between 19 & 25 since Fiere will be 20 years old.
So...
What do you think?

I like it! Seems like it would be fairly easy to just improvise a storyline, to test your character.
Ok, here are the characters i was thinking of that might fit the plot. Let me know which one you want, doesn't matter to me, whichever one you think would best help you test
1st Lieutenant Kirk, Michael:
23 years old, graduated the Reserve Officer Training Corp. 2 years ago. Dreams of someday making General and retiring with full honor, just as his grandfather did. Is quiet around strangers, deciding instead to watch and listen, to learn, but opens up with friends. Was raised by his grandfather, so was raised with a strict and old fashioned mindset. Respect elders, protect women and children first, etc. For the storyline, he is there to keep an eye on Timothy and Fiere, with orders to do protect them, and to do anything necessary to insure that the past mistakes on this island are not repeated. (If you don't like the escort backstory, he could instead be the Air force pilot flying you out there. Follows you along, helicopter crashes, whatever you want.)
Skylar Christian:
21 years old, a member of the military organization Blackwater. Was recruited one year ago, when he won a rifle contest. Is new to actual combat, having only been sent on small missions in the middle east and eastern Asia. Quick to smile and laugh, thinks life is too short to be anything other than happy. Talkative, and gets more so when nervous or scared, and because such he is thought to be an idiot by most, but is actually very sharp and reliable. For the story, Timothy hired Blackwater to send a bodyguard for this trip to the island, and Skylar's commander thought it the perfect opportunity to give him some experience. Also, none of the veteran Blackwater mercs wanted anything to do with Isla Sorna.......
SO!....that's what i came up with. If you wanted something a little less combat oriented, let me know, i could make one up. Also, I'm guessing you're the one who is going to play the parts with Timothy in them so you can move the story as you like, ya?

I'll be playing Tim and Fiere.
Your characters are great and will fit well within what I've got planned.
