Which is your favorite?
Your Favorite Blog/Site Creator?
I know that plenty of you out there on FOG have a myspace, facebook, twitter, wordpress....SOMETHING! I was just curious what your favorite of these is. I've listed others in the poll as well. Some are blogs, but some are also website creators as well.
My favorite is kinda sketchy. I like Homestead's amount of templates, but Doodlekit's possibilities and allowance of scripting tops everything else. Weebly is similar to doodlekit in its simplicity and flexibility, so I recommend that as well.

Re: Your Favorite Blog/Site Creator?
I'm just a regular Facebooker. :] I used Myspace growing up, but that's more of a kid-thing -- at least, in my perspective. I'm quote fond of Facebook now. I love taking all those surveys and playing games (like My Heroes Ability) on it too.
I have a Twitter account, but I don't really get it. I'd rather just use Facebook for now.
I've never tried those website creators, but they look neat! The website creator that I always used, which is a pretty good one, is called Freewebs.

Checking freewebs right now...looks pretty neat! I like the customization options.

I have both a MySpace and a FaceBook, but I much prefer MySpace. It's less cluttered in my opinion. The only thing that's so great about FaceBook are all of the applications, but I hate them, so yeah... I mostly just use them to keep in touch with people.

Forumotion = WIN
I've made several forums that got nowhere (and one that's still in production. Shhhh. It's a secret) and I'll have to say that they make it easy for someone who is a little bit computer retarded to get it done.

Re: Your Favorite Blog/Site Creator?
I used to have an MSN blog back in the day. Then I replaced it with a google blog (blogger.com) which I use up to today; you can customize all the html and put custom code in your stuff, which pretty much is all I wanted and needed.
For my new personal blog I use wordpress on my own webserver. And I must say it is by far the most comfortable software I've used (For example Plugin installation: you just upload the plugin folder to your remote plugin folder, and there you have it neatly in the plugins list; enable/disable, adjust settings, etc. One Plugin is called the plugin manager; with it, you can even browse available plugins and download/install them with just a click.). All it lacks is a function to insert custom coded pages (without needing to install them as plugins); the plugins that would enable this didn't work for me ;/
In germany, we mainly use other social platforms, anyways;
mainly studivz.net which is a site for scholars (but there's lots of people who're not at a uni, there, anyways. me included ) and which is connected to meinvz.net, which is pretty much the same, just without the additional info about universities. There is also another one for students which unfortunately isn't connected to the others, yet. These are probably the most used social networks in germany.
