Here is how this works. This first post will be a little introduction and original plots. The second post will be fandoms & fandom plots.

alright boys and girls!
this is the thread i'll be using to place various one x one plots.
i'm looking for someone who can challenge me to write more than i normally do {about 500 words}.
i'm only going to be on two, maybe three, times a week so i can't speed post or anything.
please try to be patient with me.

one plot for The Strings That Bind
so basically, i had this idea that two people pass on a street or in a subway car or maybe one just happens to glance at the other while they're in the same coffee shop and something happens. something electrifying passes between them and one is drawn to the other like a magnet. all they feel is the pull of the other person, the gravity of an unknown force tugging them out of their lives and into the others. no one is sure why this happens but some think its the pull of a soul mate.


what happens when a married man feels this pull towards a girl younger than him? he has been married for almost three years when he sees her. he is twenty - eight while she has to be at least twenty - two. he can't explain in but something about her eyes called to him, as if her soul had pierced his own and now they were forever intertwined. he can't ignore the tug he constantly feels to go in the opposite direction of his lovely wife. he can't take it anymore and confesses to his wife. he tells her everything and though he never cheated, his wife leaves him and takes everything.

a year later, he is homeless and begging for change. he had grown so used to the pull, the constant ache in his chest, that he hardly noticed that the pull had stopped. before him stood a woman with bright eyes and a kind smile. "come with me. i have somewhere you can stay." looking up into her eyes, the man realizes that this is the same woman he passed on the street just twelve months ago. he takes her outreached hand and this is where it all begins.

you've noticed for a few months now that something isn't quite right. something inside you is changing and you can't figure it out. your mother died recently and things have just been hell since. something has been following you and you can't shake the feeling that something terrible is about to happen. its two days after your mother's funeral when you are kidnapped and taken to a hidden compound deep underground. the first thing you hear when you wake up is "hey kid!" the woman screaming at you has deep golden eyes and a Cheshire grin. "about time you woke up. come on. lets go meet the family."

Jacob x Leah
plot one :: Alternate Universe / All Human - Jacob Black runs a successful garage in Seattle. Leah Clearwater is just a homeless girl who hangs around the garage a lot. She comes in handy when the guys who work there get into fights or when someone calls in sick. Jacob knows about her home situation and he has offered to let her work at the garage and live in the extra bedroom he has at his house. Every time, Leah refuses. She is secretly terrified of the idea of living with Jacob. She has heard of his past relationships and how one girl put him in jail for hitting her when he got angry. While a room and a job are so tempting, Leah knows that Jake has another motive behind his offer. She just isn't sure what it is yet...

plot two :: Twilight Universe / Post - Eclipse through Breaking Dawn - When Bella turns him down again, Jacob moves into the arms of Leah. She may be harsh on the outside but everyone in the pack knows she does it to protect herself. Over the next few months, the two grow close and soon become lovers. While Sam does not like the idea, he is glad the two have come together to fix one another after having their hearts broken. It isn't until Jake hears that Bella is pregnant that things start to fall apart. Leah tries hard to keep Jake in her arms but he keeps running back to that stupid human. When Bella gives birth and Jacob imprints on the infant, Leah is crushed. She leaves La Push, running as fast as her four paws will allow her. Leah returns four years later to see Jacob with a "full grown" Nessie. How will the two former lovers react to one another?

As for the demon family, I'm all for it. :3 Would you prefer demons over the other two options?

Probably. I hate interfering with 'canon' when I am this rusty. What kind of demons are you thinking of?

That was something I really hadn't thought about.

Is there any sort of demon you'd prefer playing?

Well, depends on what kind of mythology we are thinking of. There is the classic Christian demon/devil set up, Japan as a weird three set of oni, akuma, and yokai. We can go with a more original approach where in demons are like the old tales about faeries and elves. Depends on where we want to go with this. Is it an old conspiracy thing, simply a demon family empire, a malicious intent to transplant this person into a different world?

I pictured it as being something like an assassin guild or something of that nature.

The first paragraph sounds like a plot I tried to set up once that didn't work out very well. I'm rather interested in the idea, though not certain about the exact plot you have. If you're not interested in making that a little more free run, we could probably do something else or a fandom.
