So as you all know I'm currently expecting a baby, but today we found out that it is actually a he! So we're having a boy yay! Here's a cute little picture of him in all of his adorableness, it looks like he's waving hello.

Is his head the round-ish thing in the lower right side? If so, I think I can make out eyes, a nose, and teeth. ^o_o^

I was hoping for a girl but either way I love this little boy with all my heart. At first yeah I was a little disappointed but after a few minutes I just couldn't stop smiling and have been pretty much hyper alllll day lol. And yup! We're naming him after Jimmy so his names going to be Jimmy Odean Boutwell III, but we're going to call him Trace. As for if that's his head yeah lol that's it. :3

Oh don't worry! I was FREAKED OUT when she was fishing around to take that picture! You could see his eyelids and his teeth, I swear it looked like something out of a horror movie!!!! So definitely no offense taken when I completely agree lol.

As for the name he's going to be the 3rd, and Trace is a variation of 3.

Kalon: Yes, his baby blues can hardly stand the sun, which gives him a permanent glare unless I say something funny right before the shot, which then transforms his face into a beautiful smile for only a moment before the grimace returns

And yes, that is his "but moooooooom" face, he's yet to come up with the phrase though.

Please note that that was AFTER we got finished wrestling around in the floor of said Waffle House and AFTER she bit my nipple.

The coloring is actually an effect that my cell phone automatically produces when I take pictures from an app called Vignette. I can choose from all different types of effects.

The bokeh effect is when something is in focus and something isn't. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokeh It's usually only something one can accomplish with a non point-and-shoot camera, since you need to be able to control the aperture. I always loved the look of it.

Oh, I never realized it was called that; I always referred to it as a short depth of field. My point and shoot can produce that effect but it is harder to control than on an SLR. The fact you can do it on your phone is amazing! Have you seen that new lytro focus technology that allows you to adjust the focus point of an image? Pretty cool

Oh yeah, I've heard it called that too. That's awesome that you're able to produce it even on your point-and-shoot camera as well though. I've been able to do it mistakingly on my cell phone a couple of times at least, which makes me happy. XD Oh, I know! Axiom showed me that Lytro camera the other day, and now I really, really want one! That's such awesome technology!

My Smartphone can take photo's with the Bokeh effect. >_> (Had no idea it actually had a name, I just always liked the look of those kinda pics.)

Fate, those pictures looked amazing. I'm so jealous that my photo's never turn out awesome when they have people in them. It always looked... set up. You pull it off though, nice job. ^_^

It must be a smart phone thing. ^_^ I have an HTC Evo, and I noticed if I click on what I want to focus on as I'm taking a picture with it, it will normally focus on that, which is awesome. I just adore that effect.

Thanks, Dreamless Days. lol Well sometimes I think my pictures look set up, especially when Axiom gets fed up with me taking pictures of him and just looks unhappy in his shots. XD When pictures are taken when you aren't expecting them though and thus are more nature, they always tend to look best to me.
