Resistance: 2040 OOC
*Cracks Knuckles* Alright, I've got a lot of information to post here. I should have done this a while ago, but truth be told, I was putting it off because it's all on paper... Curses! But here we go...

Re: Resistance: 2040 OOC
A Sa'uim team is consisted of five members, no more. They're sent ahead of the rest of the fleet to land on the planets descretley and scout ahead. Much like Tiger Teams for the Marines, they're also used to sabatoge and collect data. While the possitions are highly honorable and respected, the members are expendable, and willingly strand themselves on planets and offer their lives if its for the good of their people, the good of their plan, or for the worst of their enemy. Their main objective is to collect data; calculating the numbers, locations and goals of their adversaries, as well as what chain of command, if any, reside on the planet. They sabatoge the resources being claimed by the Zentarium, going unnoticed if at all possible.
Each memeber of the Sa'uim have a possition.
Warrior:
The Warrior is the leader of the team. He's the strongest, most skilled fighter amongst the group, most often the vetran but not always. This possition is one of the most honorable given, and those who hold them are shown great respect and honor.
Beta:
This possition is held by the second strongest fighter, and is second in command. The Warrior chooses his own Beta, who normally is a partner he's worked along side with while going under training. The two excell when fighting side by side, but can be just as devistating seperate.
Driver:
The Driver is the technology expert. Every Sa'uim team has one of these members, who would be well learned of the planet's technology. They're the ones who are depended on to work all the mechanics of a planet; from transportation to computers to communications.
Rhetoric:
This possition isn't very common; Rhetorics are rare, since the Sa'uim teams are normally used to devistate and if possible, wipe out the Zentarium's supplies and squads. They are the ones who make contact with the species of the planet and handle such affairs needed. The possition is often filled with another warrior, since more often than not, the planets are quickly wiped out before the Sa'uim can interupt.
Convalescence:
The healer. Not very often seen to engage in battle, this possition is still highly regaurded simply for the tallents that are needed, and the respect for life. No 'magic' is used, but so advanced and skilled are these Convalesence that a weaker mind would only be able to discribe it as such.

Re: Resistance: 2040 OOC
Ilti'lium (Eel-till-ee-um)
This highly advanced race houses 'abilities' that are often misconstrued as magical. Their technology is so advanced that they're able to reconstruct their own DNA and shapeshift. Only the Sa'uim and the Elders have this ability, since it is draining and painful, and often those of other races try to steal this technology for themselves.
Most of the Ilti-lium are on their home planet, and it's the military thats out in space, fixed as the galaxie's police. They're mortal enemties to the Zentarium, and it's their goal to wipe out the over populated race. It's considered such an important and honorable job, and those who leave the planet never come back; there is no breaks for the teams.
Life spans are shorter than humans, living on an average of 60 years if situations are easy. They're faster, stronger and more advanced than the humans. Males stand at an average of 6'0 and can reach anywhere as tall as 7'2. Also, males tend to take more earthy tones of skin, with wide shoulders and far superior in strength. The women average at 5'5, with more aquatic tones, lithe in frame, but excell in speed. Women are vastly out populated than the males, and it's considered rare to see one in the military. All of this species house telepathic abilities, some stronger than others.
Weaknesses:
Constant travel puts the Ilti'lium in a variety of environments, which adds stress to their bodies and is one of the main reasons their lifespan is so short. But constant changes make is that they're able to evolve to fix that. Shifting into a creature native to the planet makes it so that they can handle the stresses of the planet: though this in itself is taxing. They must shift back within 10 houts of the change or risk getting stuck in that one form. "Trapped" is the term used to discribe the few who have fone through this.
On Earth, the air is thin compared to their home planets. After shifting a shot is needed so that their lungs are able to adapt, good for several hours. Failing to recieve the shot gives the results much like a fish out of water. they can last for a short time, but it's a slow suffocation if forced to endure it.
Abilities:
Telepathy-
This ability to talk without physical words is an ability their race aquired over a milenia ago. It's limited to distance, though the stronger of a connection you have with someone, the further out you can reach. (A way they often discribe that it feels: It's the point in between thinking to yourself, and actually, physically hearing it.) Human minds aren't built to take this invasion, though some are quite capable. Humans can fall into madness, their minds can snap under its weight. Those who don't buckle under the pressure get migrains if used for too long.
Empathy:
This is the ability to read other people's feelings, as if it were something such as feeling body temperature. Some are rather strong at this, while others could be considered to simply be 'aware'.
Telekanisis:
This ability is very, very rare. It's like earth's Staff Infections. When growing up, the race are given shots which contain Nanites. (Which aid their ability to move so fast, and speeds up their healing.) Sometimes a body rejects the nanites and they get really sick. 90% pass away when this happens and the other 10% (About a total of 500) 'molt'. They have two-toned eyes, which is the only physical way to tell who hosts these abilities.

Re: Resistance: 2040 OOC
Annnnd my long over due Zentarium. Just incase it wasn't obvious, the artwork isn't mine Thank the creative arts of the Deviants who are far more superior and artisticly inclined than I am...
Zentarium
Soldiers:
These are the more often seen soldiers of the alien race, standing on average of 8-9 feet tall, some with pinchers like shown above, but not always. Their big, but surprisingly light on their feet when forced to move, as agile as their mass could allow, and hitting one feels like punching a hot, mossy rock. Hand to hand does crap, but fire is wonderful, guns are prefered, and explosives are better. They have no mouths to communicate with, instead, much like whales, they produce low, 'wuff'ing sounds that vibrate from their chests. These sounds can reach 60 miles out, and if you don't silence them quickly, or if you're in the area for too long, you'll be finding their backup.
Hounds:
Also insect-like, the 'hounds' aren't able to man the weapons the Zentarium use in war. These forces take on a more animalistic approach. Their tallons are something to be feared; not sharp at the very tips, but blunt and heady. Being swiped by one feels like being hit with a cement block. If you're unprotected, and the momentum it right, dull or not it will rip skin, giving you blunt force trama in the process. Again they have no eyes, but hundreds of tiny antenae on the tops of their heads, sensitive to heat and vibrations. Loosing these once they're on your trail is difficult, because they also have a keen sense of smell that any bear would envy. Their forms of communications come from the throat, a series of clicks and chitters (Its comparable to dolphins, though these are deeper in tone to our ears, also capable of covering great distances)
Wasps:
These are the ones best avoided. Not nearly as tough skinned as the Soldiers, or strong as the hounds, the 'wasps' are the sky forces to this hive. They're able to fly for great periods of time, their wings buzz much like that of a bee, and even have 'stingers' built into their chests. This barb is simply a bone, shaped like a needle, and filled with a venom that paralizes the victem for several aganizing minutes. Respritory systems tend to shut down durring this time, it's wise to give cpr to a partner should they be lucky enough to escape the wasps, and not taken back for food to the hive. The Wasps tend to stick closer to the Hive than the others, acting as guards and will even attack animals should they get too close. Again, they have no eyes, instead hundreds of antenae on their heads sensitive to heat, sound and other vibrations.

I got my intro post in.
I also edited it just now because one of the names was too similar to a real person.
