Jade knows her life is strange, having been born to vampire parents and coming out completely human, she is the odd member of her society, the great mystery, it doesn’t help that her family is not only vampire, but vampiric nobility as well, the Duke and Duchess Burkestrom.
The royal pair worry for their mortal daughter, being mortal holds little prosperity for her life, as a human, she could not inherit the family title and take her place among the vampire nobility, so that left only one solution, one their daughter would hate them for, but it had to be done, it was for her own good.
They sought out another high born vampire family with a unattached son close physically close to Jade’s age and brought forth a proposition to the noble vampire, marry their daughter and eventually become the next Duke Burkestrom.
He accepted.
