Once upon a time, an androgynous teenager was leaving his town to… pick turnips or something. Though he carried a great burden due to his angsty past, he managed to shoulder it and venture out of his home. He brought his unbelievably massive sword with him (cause those turnips can be tough), and ventured out to his farm for a good day’s work. Sweating under the sun, his impossibly spiky hair caught the sunlight, enticing passing birds with its excellent impersonation of a church tower. As he walked back into town to sell his radishes, however, he sensed something wrong with his senses (mainly smell. There was a lot of smoke). The entire village had been massacred (except for a few convenient survivors), and his love interest/childhood friend was gone! He soon found the mark of the Massively Overdramatic and Needlessly Oppressive Network burned into the middle of town square, and vowed to quest for love and his friends. Oh, what wacky hijinks would ensue?

If you’re looking for character development, seriousness, and a story that even makes the remotest bit of sense, look somewhere else. Seraph Tog not only espouses the worst bits of fantasy RP, it embraces them! This RP is intended for fun, not “serious choices” or “good storytelling”.

The world of Seraph Tog was created by angels, beings of light who descended from the heavens to create the Tog, from which all life flows. These angels brought forth life first in the noryi, who swim the seas, and then in the form of man. However, these angels were not the pure rulers that you hear of in faerie tales- they were just as capricious and angry as humans. So, they created a world with several caveats, which humans are only now beginning to understand. The two basic laws of the universe are: funny works, Tog is relative. If you say that you’re something in the world of Tog, the force of Tog will go out of its way to prove you wrong with hilarious consequences. Say you’re graceful and a banana peel may scoot out of a corner and under the leg of your chair. Say that you’re a badass, and you’ll fall flat on your face. Tog being relative is a fundamentally trickier concept, however. Each person’s soul is connected to Tog, and is part of it, in a manner. In this way, each person can manipulate it with their own personal effects.
In this way is Tog’s true potential revealed. Each person within the world of Tog has a class, a trait that makes them themselves. Because of the first law (funny works), most of the time, this class is wacky in some way, in order to make the laws of the universe better benefit them. Examples range from hapless thief to battle cheerleader (in full plate, of course) to pastamancer. Better still, the inhabitants of Tog know that they are of these classes, and will refer to themselves as such, though the existence of “levels” has not been proven.

If you couldn't tell already, this is light-hearted fantasy told in a japanese manner. Expect time travel, talking frogs, and other sorts of ridiculousness.

Just throwing this out there for interest before I create more clutter in an already cluttered OOC area.
