This is Absolution

A blessing isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be.

Can you feel it?

The pulse? The energies flowing through you?

The Mark of Judgement, they call it. A blessing from the almighty Taurus himself, elevating you above your fellow man, angel and demon and all the mixes in-between. That little red marking. So much power condensed into such a tiny being. It’s practically a disaster waiting to happen. Shame no one else sees the problems in elevating average folk into demi-gods.

But, let’s recap, shall we?

Two days ago, you woke up with this burning on your body, radiating it’s power and letting the whole world know exactly what you had become. A somebody. A something.

A blip on His radar.

Your families, your friends, even perfect strangers began to see you in a different light. They respected you, hung off every word you said, and did whatever popped into your head. It’d be a lie to say you didn’t abuse it just a smidgen, but I’m not here to criticise your life choices.

I’m here to help you get started.

Now…well, now is the time for action. The time for life has come and passed, and you didn’t even notice. They’ll be coming to find you. The Legion. His personal army. And, no matter how much juice that little mark gives you, it doesn’t make you immortal, and the Legion is a foe you’re not ready to face.

Yet.

I can tell you’re not exactly ready to trust me yet. That’s fine, and perfectly understandable. I wouldn’t believe a voice in my dreams right away either. But if you want to get through this alive, then you’re going have to listen to me and listen damn good.

The Legion will be in Lotiel in the morning. So, we’ve got a very small time frame to escape, and you’re going to do exactly what I say. Get what you need for the road. Pack light, and pack smart. One bag, two if you’re big enough to carry it yourself. Lock the house up tight, but make it look like someone is home. That’ll buy us a few minutes.

After that’s done, head down to Main Street. There’s an alley near the blacksmiths, and you need to go down it. Make sure you aren’t followed.

At the end of the alley, you’ll find a small café. Go inside, and grab a seat. I’ll meet you there.

Oh, and one more thing?

Don’t let anyone see the mark. Don’t tell anyone where you’re going. Don’t trust anyone.

Trust me on this.

And for a moment of clarification...this is NOT going to be set in 'modern' times. It's going to be...well, fantasy-esque. No guns, or cars.

All of this will be explained more in the OOC. There is a good deal of information to draft up, so it might take a little while for it to get up.

Though, to be honest, I probably wouldn't of looked at this if I hadn't been running an RP of my own on a different forum by the name of Absolution. The similarity of names, and in particular the capital A at the beginning of Absolution caught my eye, so I figured I'd check it out. >.<

Ladies and Gents, please forgive the lack of OOC. Believe me, I am picking at it, although slowly. Had a bunch of posting that needed done and my new found mod duties needed learned, plus work and life, and my girlfriend and you can see how my time is being endlessly stolen away from me.
