Rain's Storms

Since I am involved in so many roleplays,
I decided that it was about time that I gathered
all of my characters in one place
for future and easily accessible reference.

Just as every sea is made up of millions and billions
of tiny water drops, every writer's mind is made up of millions
and billions of words and creations.
Characters are part of that creation.

This is my creation.

Appearance:
Anya is 5'6" and slender. Her eyes are a stormy gray color with hints of blue in them, which become obvious depending on what color clothes she is wearing and her makeup,which is generally simple black liner and mascara, occasionally paired with a dusting of a light-colored,shimmery eyeshadow and pink lip-gloss. She has long, straight black hair that she generally has put up into a ponytail, sometimes with her bangs twisted and pinned back in various ways. Generally she wears light blue denim jeans and a variety of tops ranging from form-fitting tees to more elaborate, patterned colors. For work, she wears khaki slacks or shorts with a white, button-up, short-sleeved blouse. Her facial features are angular and well-proportioned and she is good-looking but no more so than any other pretty woman. Her skin is
tanned from working in the field so often.

Personality:
Anya is a hot-headed fiery female with a kind nature and people's best interests at heart. She often does not think through what she says or does, but rather acts and speaks more impulsively. She is intensely loyal to those she cares about and will often pick fights for them or over them. In general though, she is kind, though sarcastic.

Brief bio/history (optional):
Anya grew up in a single-mother home with her younger sister, Isabelle, and her mother, Lena. She was always fascinated with history and the outdoors, which led her to going to school and becoming an architect. She excelled in her field and quickly climbed the ranks until being hired by Intrigue to investigate a never-before seen sight. She is very excited to attend this new dig and have a discovery credited to her name.

2. KARRIE JACKSON

Appearance:
Karrie is short, only 5'2", but she is slender. Pixie-ish might be a good way to describe her. She has short, choppy, dark brown hair with red streaks through it. Her face is angular and pretty with cat-like green eyes. Her mouth is little and her lips are a pale pink. She has a light dusting of freckles over the bridge of her nose and her cheek bones.

Personality:

Biography:
Karrie came from a small town in Pennsylvania, and she grew up in surrounded by this-is-haunted's and that-is-haunted's, which developed her interest in the supernatural. She and her friends spent their teen years 'ghost-hunting' in the area, looking for ghosts and the haunted.


She came from a family that was pretty much the standard in her town: a mother, a father, and two siblings, both of which were boys, which led to Karrie being somewhat of a tomboy in her attitude. It also led to her being extremely girly in her appearance.

3. DERRICK JACKSON

Personality:
He is a bit of a cocky, loud-mouthed man with a tendency to believe himself a bit of a badass. He likes to be loud, things that make loud noises (like explosions), and loud music. Never afraid of a challenge, he often has that “anything you can do, I can do better” attitude, and is kind of a sore loser. But he always admits when he's wrong, and though he doesn't apologize often, he will do it with total sincerity if he believes his wrong, which isn't often.



Bio/History:
The armed forces always suited his personality and called to him, and he joined out of high school, making his parents very proud. His father was in the Air Force when Derrick was younger and they did a lot of traveling while his father was moved to different stations until his father retired. Now, he's been put on a special team to hunt some escaped experiments and is loving every minute of his job, which he always takes incredibly seriously deep down but on the surface appears to kid about.

She is very confidentand very loud. She enjoys talking but generally avoids talking about herself. Never opposed to a good fight or a good debate, she also knows when to hold her tongue and when to pick her battles.

History/Bio:
Morgandy was the daughter of an Irish family that immigrated to the American colonies. They moved to the Appalachian Mountains and mostly were uninterested in the affairs of what was going on. Her parents were devout in the religion, but Morgandy had always felt that God either did not exist or no longer cared for humans. She prayed only under the pretense of pleasing her parents, whom despite not seeing eye-to-eye with them, she loved very much, as did she love her small, child sister, Gwyndolen.

When a fire burned down their house and everyone, including the cat, managed to live and escape with minimal injuries - everyone except Gwen - Morgandy nearly lost her mind at her sister's death. She lost all faith and refused to pray at all even to please her parents. This occured when she was seventeen.

Six years after the fire, and six years of slowly losing what mind she had left, becoming a bitter husk of an empty and cold-hearted woman, Morgandy took her own life. She hung herself from the rafters of her father's barn's loft, no longer able to live in a world that she had no faith in and in a world that held nothing for her, in her opinion. Her mind had been greatly destabilized and what had been left of it after her sister's death had deteriorated until she had somehow convinced herself that no life was better than some life.

After she haddied, she became a Reaper, a job that she revels in, a job that affirms, in her eyes, every thing that she had ever believed about God in her life. She enjoys nothing better than destroying souls and working to prove that God cares nothing for humans.

Weapons:
- A pair of long, gleaming knives with black hilts, decorated with silver symbols and writing.
- Throwing knives that match the appearance of the duel, almost-sword length other knives she carries

- Much of her magic deals with fire, which she both hates and loves, in a sick, twisted sense.
- The ability to manipulate what a person perceives as reality, usually something very cruel and unkind

Alayna was trained as a warrior toguard the priestess of the Ishba'als, an elite force that are highly skilled in the art of defense and of magic. Thus, Alayna is highly trained in hand-to-hand combat, the art of casting spells, and other various forms of combat. She has numerous weapons, ranging from a bow (for long range), a staff, and several knives, as well as her magic.

According to King Ryoto's vision of peace, these skills are never used irresponsibily but are taught as defense only and to uphold tradition. They also learn lest Ryoto's rule fail or new enemies be brought upon them; the motto of the Maidenhood is to always be prepared and their thorough, never-ending educaton is one of Alayna's greatest skills.

She has also been trained in the ways of diplomacy and pretty speech and to use words first, and if that fails, defensive acts rather than acts designed to destroy on the offense.

Brief History:
Alayna began her training at the age of twelve, at which point she left her family and commenced six years of training in many arts, all of which would be necessary to protecting and escorting a priestess. After these six years, each potential Maiden was bonded to an animal spirit to augment their magic and to imbue them with skills and prowess of that animal. Alayna was bonded
to the Wolf, and after that, she forever gained wolf ears and a tail. Her long hair, which was once pale blonde, almost silver, was turned gray.

She was then promoted the the Maidens of the Priestess, an elite circle of the top students, chosen to be the closest security of the Priestess. She has had nine years on the job and additional training as she went. After four years of excelling and gaining the priestess' trust, she was promoted to the Captain of the Maidens and had become the priestess' most trusted Maiden.

When she heard of King Ryoto's plight, she partioned the priestess for leave to come to his aid and offer her services as an aide and protector on his journey. She is now on her way to his court to offer her services to him.

Appearance:
She is about five foot seven, relatively lanky for her height, with light eyes that are some pale mixture of green, gray and blue. Her hair is long and straight, falling to about the bottom of her shoulder blades, and is auburn in color. Her facial features are angular and her skin is far.

Her fox form is that of the red fox and she has one white sock on her left front paw, the other three being black.

2. STORME AND SELDA

Unknown, but she and her twin sister are very young.

Appearance:
Storme and Selda look like two young girls, around the age of ten or so. Their eyes are a dark green and their black hair brushes their shoulders. They are twiggy but not very tall.


Note:
Vala is the female head of the clan and is often referred to as Lady Vala. Also, Storme and Selda really have no idea about anything. They don't even seem to understand they are were-creatures or anything about the Clan.

Background:
She has an older brother who is not a werewolf. She used to live with her family, working as a herbalist, until she was bitten one night gathering a flower that only blossomed at night. Afterwards, she moved away from her family, deeper into the forest to avoid harming her family when she transformed.

Personality:
Her human form is sweet and gentle-natured but can be as vicious as her wolf form when need be. She is rather cynical and sarcastic but is not depressed or drag. She can be quite fiery in her temper but it takes a lot to push her over the edge.





Other:
(Side note: werewolves can't experience moonlight period, contrary to popular belief that it is only at full moons that they transform.) She keeps a black cat named Tuesday as a pet. Also she loses her elemental power when in werewolf form and while she cannot control that form entirely yet, she is working on finding a way to control it.

Appearance:
As a fully transformed werewulf, Wulf is a giant, black-haired wolf with amber eyes. In his bipedal form, he is six foot three and very muscular with long black hair he keeps tied back in a pony tail. His eyes are pale blue and he has ngular facial features. His legs are lanky as are his arms. He has a scar across the back of his right hand and one under his left eye.

Personality:
Wulf is a calm and collected leader and nothing comes before his clan or his love, Kendall, the female head of the Clan. He is incredibly loyal and protective. He speaks calmly and israrely fired up.

Magical skills/expertise:
He is practiced in all forms of general magic, but his true expertise lies in earth magic.

Background/history:
Wulf grew up in a small village and discovered a book on magic, which began his love of the arts. As he grew, he practiced and was very skilled. Eventually he left his village and traveled, gathering together a band of magi, which would later become his clan.

Other:
Wulf carries around a long, double-edged sword.
