Hello from Ground Zero.
Hey. So, here's where I'd love to tell you a lot of things.
Like, that my mind has been labeled a psychedelic substance by the FDA.
Like, I was directly responsible for the Unseelie Incursion of 1984.
Like, I spend my free time socializing with super-models.
Like, I was was the second shooter.
And lastly, I am your father.
The tricky bit is that none of those are true. Well, the last one could be, but I'm in serious trouble if it is. O.O
Anyway, I've had a fair amount of RP experience, but I'm still a little intimidated by this site being for better than average writers. Still, I'm starting to think that the average person has the writing capacity of a brick wall, so I think it'll be cool. I was recommended to this site by a friend of mine (who continues to annoy me by changing his screen name from site to site ). He claims his name here is Kingmaker. I have yet to decide if I believe him. >.>
So, yeah. I was about to launch a little RP I've had cooking on another site, when Kingmaker was all, "You know, I know a site that would love that!" And since the other site was... disappointing in terms of writing quality ("the average person has the writing capacity of a brick wall") I figured I'd give it a shot. So, after spending fifteen minutes looking for the registration button (seriously, who would put it in such an obvious place? Gosh. ), I started this post, and now I'm here.

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
To be honest, I'm the friend.
Yes, long lost Kingmaker has returned with gifts of Chainlinc3. This guy's got a big brain on him, and an amazing way of blending humor, action, adventure, just enough mystery, and more than enough gore to keep things interesting.
Treat him well, FOGers, he deserves to be here.
Oh, and HI CHAINY!

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
Rofl, you just love me for making a bunch of characters that get you hot and bothered.
Anyway, you can probably ignore Kingmaker's praise. All I've done to completion was one story arc, not that much. But I think I also recruited another friend within minutes of joining, so... that's good, right? >.<

Hello, Chain, and welcome! The standard of writing here is MUCH more advanced than walls made of any substance, and the members surpass even that with flying colors and obvious love for the written word. You will not be disappointed with the results, I'm sure. Enjoy your stay!

That's me! I'm so going to hijack your introduction for my own malevolent purposes!
Or not, depending on whether I feel like it.

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
Thanks for the welcome everyone!
And Tote? I think that just succeeded in making me MORE anxious.
Anyway, I posted up the thread I had planned. It's over in the Casual Interest Checks, if anyone's interested.

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
Welcome to Fog Chain!
I like the fact that you're slightly crazy, since I'm gone all the way, I think we'll get together just fine.
Oh, and don't worry about the whole 'being my father' bit, since I don't have parents. I created the universe, and then I was like "Hey, I want to create a race of beings that I can mess with to my hearts content!" That is how humans were born.
So there you have it, just a little info on the Quakernuts. Don't worry, I don't randomly smite people unless I get angry, get sad, dissapointed, happy, or I just feel like watching someone get hit by lightning.
Enjoy your stay here, and have some fun.

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
Welcome to the swirling mists!
No one will actually kill you if you make a spelling mistake...they might nibble a little though. I think we're all secretly vampires, or possibly puppies. They nibble on stuff. I guess their teeth itches?
I hope you have a grand time!
Once again, welcome!

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
Hello! I'm the old junior greeter, and possibly senior greeter if I ever find out if Dio has left or not. To be honest, I probably poisoned, maimed, or psychologically scarred him somehow, so that might explain why he's vanished.
Oh, wait, where was I?
Oh, yeah; welcome to FOG!

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
Hehe.
It's a little crazy around here, but don't mind us! The important part is, welcome to FOG! Enjoy your stay (hopefully it's a long one). You won't be disappointed in terms of writing here. It really is for those of us who want a higher quality in our writing.
And everyone's very friendly (except for the few of them who bite... they don't bite much) and more than welcoming and helpful. So feel free to ask just about anyone any question you might have.
Hope to see you around!

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
The only thing you really have to worry about is people nibbling on your soul, but even that just tickles more than anything...
I mean...err...
WELCOME TO FOG!!!!
You're definitely in the right place for excellent role-playing and high quality writing. You seem to have a great blend of writing talent and craziness, so I foresee you getting along here most excellently. Enjoy your stay!

Re: Hello from Ground Zero.
Great to have you, Chainlinc3! Welcome to the FOG!
We're all sure to enjoy having you around. There's a dash of crazy in all of us. My goodness, yes.
If you have any questions at all -- even stupid ones... goodness knows the stupid ones are the most fun to answer... xD -- do please feel free to ask. I always say, around here, you'll get 3-6 people racing to deliver the paragraphs-long answers first. ^^
Welcome again, and enjoy the swirly mists!
