Corvine OOC Discussions
Byron and Amy, I have taken it upon myself to start an OOC thread here. I am so happy we got off to a brilliant start.
Byron I have been developing some ideas about the history of Corvine and I will email them to your account so we can get into more depth here. Thus far the preliminaries have proved promising! I thank the both ofyour for your dedication and intensity.

Awesome! It's a delightful ride and really gets the creative juices flowing. Psychology is fascinating as it is, but mixed with horror it becomes a gold mine of plot, especially when involving the mentally ill.

Ok man, I took what I could from the description in your "interview" with Aggy and I think I got a pretty good picture of what your Doctor should like like. Ecuse the literary flourishes : D

Re: Corvine OOC Discussions
Lovely posts, the both of you. I can really get lost in your characters when reading you.
Alright, I felt inspired by Agatha's journal so I decided to draw it when I was finished with my post. I had planned to include it in my post but then thought it might be in poor taste, so I'll just post it here instead. I imagine she'd write a more indepth account than this, but she probably drew pictures of what had happened and decided to include captions of the events, marking down what she saw and the writing as an afterthought to explain.
Agatha's Journal
In case you cannot read it, it says,
"In the corner the forest appeared...
I soon left the room behind...
Then the mist came and ate everything...even me...
I met the lake...
And it looked back at me...
What did they see?"

Wow Amy that's awesome! You are doing such an amazing job. I too really like your character, she is just totally engrossing. What I really enjoy about her is that I don't know what to expect next.
That little excert there is chilling- you really know what to do to make it intellectually apealling

Roth, I'm glad we talked about what kind of cerebral challenges we were going to give eachother over the phone. It would have been too tedious to write all of that down and taken way too long. I like that we only brushed over our discussions in our thread.
Amy, sorry we didnt post yesterday, Roth and I were talking about how Julian was supposed to pass Dr. Johannes' test without making it too long and tedious.
We are working on the actual history of Corvine now- all of us can add to it. We need to discover our places in the puzzel of the place. I am having an awesome time with both of you. thanky ou both for the much needed stimulation!

Re: Corvine OOC Discussions
No problem. I just figured it was the weekend and you two were probably busy socially, but it pleases me to know how dedicated to the roleplay you both are. Both posts were very well-done, but I'm kind of at a loss on what to do with Agatha with the time disparity. Should I write it like a month has gone by or stick with Roth's timeline?
Also, how would things be run in the facility? Does she stay in her room until Johannes comes for her or would there be other people working there who would take her out of her room to eat, etc.? Also, I assume she's not in the larger facility with the tower in the middle of it but in the main house(correct me if I'm wrong)? What is it like on the inside if she does get let out occasionally? Is it like a hospital or more like a Victorian house?(I suppose these last two questions would be rendered pointless if she is indeed in the larger hospital-esque building)
Personally, as far as the mystery of Corvine goes and where Agatha's ties come into it...I feel like I'm watching the first season of Lost and Corvine is the island; I still don't know exactly what Corvine is and how/why it has this power over people.

Re: Corvine OOC Discussions
Yes I had the same question myself. Byron suddenly made one month go by which concerned me. Just stick to Roth's timeline for now, and I will fix the situation after you post. After you and I go to the lake and the woods, we can let one month go by at which time Julian Lynne joins us both at Corvine. After this, the history of Corvine will begin to unfold through Julian, who wil be more involved with uncovering and recording the history. Once more of the history is divulged (during this week) we can all develop our characters and interpersonal relationships.
You are in the nicer portion of the institute, in the rooms of the Victorian house. Yes certainly, as long as your character is not behaving too eratically she can be escorted out to a common area where other patients are eating and engaged in recreations like reading books, playing games, and watching television. You would be closely watched by the staff- the only time you would actually go outside is with me.

Oh yes, I must also add the accomodations are very late victorian, think circa 1880. I suppose the reasoning is we dont want you to think you are just at some regular cold clinical institution. Johannes wants his patients, the ones on the Victorian side, to feel as comfortable as possible. Plush velvety couches, good food, large paintings on the wall, thick heavy curtains, beautiful wallpaper and dark oak panneling.

Lol! Yes I only wish I lived in such a nicely appointed home myself... the hauntings and dreams aside lol! I suppose Agatha's parents must have been relatively wealthy to put her in such a nice place!

I'm glad!
Oh yeah, and I neglected to mention that Shannon's Nightmare Journal is a tape recorder. D= I've been so scatter-brained lately.
*Goes to edit that in*
