Hello,

Well, it seems that my quest to find a somewhat decent role-playing community has finally come to an end after quite a bit of searching. In my wanderings I stumbled across this here site, and, beautiful graphics aside, I found myself being drawn into what seemed to be a strong and highly literate group of writers... Here's to hoping that my initial impression wasn't wrong.

As for myself, my name is Cal, or Erebus as I would like to be known on this forum. I've drifted between a variety of roleplays of all shapes and sizes for the last 3 or 4 years with varying degrees of success, mostly participating in Fantasy and Anime or Manga settings. I'm 18, a Pisces (I do so love Star Signs) and like to consider myself to be a decent writer, though that is solely my own opinion.

Anyway, I'm going to head off and continue reading through the tonnes of posts and information here! Hopefully I'll get to know you all better soon.

I was fortunate enough to have this site come to me, as it were, when I was over on Gaia. I, too, was drawn at first a little by the graphics and professional look, but it was when I went into the role-play forums and saw the walls of text that I felt like I'd finally found The Place. xD

If you like super-deep settings and a not-too-grueling pace, with lots of literacy, you might enjoy Sephiris: The Price of Peace, which I've been hosting in the Advanced Role-Play section.

It's been going slow recently because of certain major RP projects throughout FOG, but that only means it'll be a perfect time to insert yourself into the story. xD

Oh, and for the record, I happen to be a proud Aries, born in the Year of the Tiger. So, that basically makes me a Tigeram! Those are quite dangerous you know, so you should certainly behave lest you wake the beast!

Thanks for the link, it definitely seems to be along the lines of what I was looking for. I had a bit of a read through the actual setting itself and it seems to be very detailed and quite deep as you said. Once I'm done reading everything I'll post a character for you in the Out of Character thread, if that's okay with you?

It's good to see another friendly face, and I'm certain Kalon is thrilled that someone new actually wanted to join his role play. It seems like that role play has been alive forever. heheh

I love astrology though I'm not as into it now as I once was, so I've forgotten many things. I'm a cusp of Scorpio and of Sagittarius though I often feel more connected to Scorpio descriptions. Of course, I do have my Sagittarius tendencies. They seem like such a strange combination, but somehow they work... or perhaps they don't?

Kalon - I've spent the last few days reading through your role play and going over everything so that I'm familiar with it.
