Re: Faithfulness : OOC
I made a post tonight. Please come back on.
We finally see flawed school-boy heroics meet a strange imprinted blood lust and will to protect that Fael'taire has been waiting to unleash upon some ill-fated villian.

Posted. We will be staying in the Machine Museum, and I tried to bring in Raptor's character without making a post that was more than five pages long lol. So, it might be a little etchy.
Basically, Eko created a Libelle for Raptor's character. Thus, his character is like a minute or two behind ours, but staying close, as the Libelle leads him to the Machine Museum.
So now just chill, make conversation, and stuff. Ask questions or whatever.

Re: Faithfulness : OOC
I'll try to get a post later tonight, but there is something I want to add so that people who might post before me can add. Upon his escape through the crowd, Lathus aquires a rather pricey looking hooded cloak that is dark green with a silver trim. He uses this to mask his identity and move among the crowd freely since he was one of the most likely to be forced back into the frey. The Omen chose him afterall.
The point I'm getting at is that it would appear that a stranger is persuing the group out of the club. Either your character could be perceptive and recognize him from the get go or initially treat him as one of the many other faceless clubgoers. Just try not to bash him too badly if it is the latter.

Re: Faithfulness : OOC
Name: Begoth
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Race: Omen
Social Class: None
Fighting Class: Warrior
Weapon(s): Weathered Great Axe (as shown in appearance picture)
Magic:None
Home Territory: Orcus
Appearance:
Begoth’s skin is as dark as coal, covered in strange markings and scars. His crimson hair is cut short to prevent it from obstructing his view, and a long wide patch of his skull is bald from a wound that left the deep scar running across it. Begoth’s eyes are pure black, and many who gaze into them find a chill running down their spine. His body is well muscled and thick; skin as thick and rough like leather.
Brief Personality: Years of conflict have left Begoth cold and distant to those around him, instead preferring to slip through life without any attachments to hold him back. He does this not out of hatred, but out of the fear of losing those that he would call friends. If one manages to befriend the jaded creature he has become, they will find a man searching for an answer to question he cannot outrun nor fight. Violence is his first response to anything, and he is never one to shy away from any sort of fight, even if his foe vastly outnumbers him. Death holds no secrets for the Omen, and one might say he isn’t even really alive.
Bio: Begoth never truly speaks of his past, aside from mentioning that he was born in the territory of Orcus. He claims to have fled from the territory when he was almost forced to join the ranks of Ryu’s growing army, but his eyes tell a much different story. His mind is constantly burdened with the guilt of his past, and whatever demons lurk in the dark corners of the Omen’s mind weigh upon his shoulders like a thousand worlds.
He has sought out Eko in the hopes if finding his atonement on her quest, to quiet the maddening voices of accusation that rob him of sleep.

Howdy! Eternity has given me the all clear to throw this up here now. I'm looking forward to rping with you all!

Hmmmmm....
"Holy crap! Eko bought us a war-machine!"
"Forget riding Ferrovax, I call dibs on the tank! Now where the hell is the hatch to get in... Who has the keys?"
....
Just a few of the lines Lathus is likely to use upon Begoth's introduction.
Welcome to the RP Plague.

I'm thinking about how to bring you in Plague, and I have an idea. Very soon, Ryu is going to send out his favorite little Omen- a strange and unique Omen named Persephone- out to spy on Eko. You can have your character follow behind her trail, knowing where she is going and wanting to join the other team.

Begoth will most likely try to smoosh him for attempting to use him as a mount.
"I am not your steed, you wretched little urchin! Come back here so I can tear your head from your shoulders!"
Thanks fer welcoming me, Loki. I hope I'll live up to the standards you all have.
I read about her. Isn't she rather speedy? He might be able to keep up, but he'd have some trouble due to his wall of armour...

Re: Faithfulness : OOC
Yes, she is. BUT She won't be too fast. I was thinking I would have her fly, so maybe he could follow on ground seeing as Omen flight (Which is rare for an Omen) is rather slow.
And remember, Begoth will be near Vanth, the mining city of metal and mechanics. As well, Orcus is a city of machines and electricity more-so then steam power. You can, if you desire, ride a rather large motorcycle or motortrike (can't figure the proper name, but you can google it: The three-wheeled motorcycles) To Gehenna since Gehenna is not but so far from Orcus. Think of the territories lying on a strip of land about a good three hundred miles stretching from Baiame to Orcus. It also forms a crescent, which stretches the length to about five hundred miles. But since they are in Gehenna, and Gehenna is where you are, think of it being like drawing a straight horizontal line from Orcus to the center of the crescent. The ending point of the line would land in Gehenna, because Gehenna is not apart of the crescent strip, but actually turns the strip of territories into a "D" Shape. So if you could imagine a "D" with only half the back line to keep it from looking like a backwards "C". LOL
Really confusing. Here, easier:
You can use a motorized vehicle from either Vanth or Orcus to drive to Gehenna. It will be a pitch of maybe a hundred and fifty miles, so after or just before getting to Gehenna, the machine will become rather useless (unless Alexis can refuel it to get them past Gehenna and on further!).
But yes.
REMINDER TO ALL OTHERS:
Gunneh and Melancholy need to post. Mel, if you go on and post and just drop yourself, say, in a dark alley or something to just take a break, I'll have my side-plot for you just barely wave it's head there.
Everyone else: In my next post, we will probably all go to bed, save for Eko, and try to get some sleep. Those who remain awake or wake up during the night, there will be a small section that will be what she is doing while the others sleep, and it will add a bit more spice to the pot of this roleplay.

I'm thinking about posting again soon, and just fluffing empty space and time and allowing more conversation between others and Eko / Alexis. Are people for or against this? It might mean getting to post more often for the rest of you who are more speedy posters.

I'd like the Motortrike idea. It seems like a suitable beastie to carry him. Alright, that's what I'll do. Let's hope dear old Persephone dosen't hear the roaring engine behind her. Maybe she'll have an ipod on full.

Well, see, that's another good thing. Because of the storm clouds, if she flies, she won't likely hear him for the thunder. Which sounds almost like a roaring engine

Re: Faithfulness : OOC
Post my children. The next day (when everyone wakes up) will be the day they head out of Gehenna. Later (as in two or three more of my posts) I'll begin to lure Persephone out of Orcus, and thus give Plague a way to come forward. Though Plague, your character won't meet up with ours for a little while.

Loki, don't post until I post again. Forgot to mention this, but you won't catch Eko's words because I'm going to pull you into a scene with Alexis; since two close proximity Nyxi can share dreams lol.

It's all very good lol. Next time they have a dream like that, it will fall upon you, so I'll consult you via PMs about what you may or may not want that dream to be about. It doesn't have to be memories, it can be dreams, or even a personal conversation held between two Nyxi' in sleep.
NOW EVERYONE ELSE:
WHERE THE F*** ARE YOU?!?! Gunneh, post, and I'll post in PC tomorrow. Melancholy, wake up. Bird, Raptor, I'm glad you both have woken up, I'm proud. Once we get everyone up and going, I'm going to ready us to get out of this shindig.

Hey everyone. Sorry about my absence, it's seems I've gotten slightly caught up with life. Once more, I will jump start this rp again and keep it going at all costs. I will try my damn best to have up a continue-story post tomorrow since we're out on snow day. Let's pray I get to it lol. My friend is supposed to come over so we can discuss her mother's funeral, so it might not happen. But I'm pushing for tomorrow. Please post and remind me that you are in this if you are still in this lol.
