I'm into standard sci-fi or fantasy stuff, with big, epic settings and free-form plots. If you ever played Morrowind/Oblivion or Mass Effect, then you know what I'm talking about. However, I am also up for anything else, as long as it's original, and not based on a movie or a tv show, or a comic. Call me prejudiced, I don't care

Shade, I don't have any fresh ideas at the moment, and I looked at yours but none of them struck my fancy. Any others you have in mind?

Right now, I'm on a horror/gore/romance run, but Eternity is helping me with that.
I do enjoy sci-fi RPs though. :3

Well, we could try for a little sci-fi, then. Let's see...my creativity is like, sapped today. Hmm...

Everyone tends to go for the bounty hunters/pirates/special ops military angles, or some such. I say we go for a more character-driven type of plot, with normal to semi-normal people, but in a futuristic setting, and with some sort of central background conflict that can provide a reason for our characters to be together. That's all I've got so far but I'm still thinking. Your thoughts? I'm open to other ideas if you're hankering for something in particular.

Those would be my ideas, and it's all I got at the moment. I've another though that's called Blood Money, and takes place in Modern New York, it's listed under the casual rp section, though I don't know if that'll catch your fancy either. Is there anythin in particular you're in the mood for?

Interstellar war of some sort as the conflict?

I know, right? So frustrating.

I heard you mention interstellar war, however...and at the first mention of interstellar war, I become excited. Excitement leads to inspiration, and I just so happen to have an old idea of mine laying around that I never used for a roleplay. It's basically about a time 500 years into the future, when humanity has terraformed and colonized Mars, and the Mars colonists rebel against their respective Earth governments and try to become independent. Having only a very small fleet of their own (made up of converted private vessels and defects from the United Nations military), they of course lose the initial stage of the war, and so begin to fight a terrestrial, geurilla-style war against the occupying forces. Think the Iraq War meets the American Revolution meets Starcraft XD

Our characters could be from either the occupying forces, the resistance, or just normal people - residents of Mars, or corporate employees, things like that. What do you think?
