Greetings, everyone!
I stumbled upon this forum as I searched for worthy RP sites, and it seems interesting. I have not RPed in a long time, thanks to trolls and god-moders making life sour on the other sites I've visited, however with this site's focus on quality I guess that scares most of them away.
I came here in search for RP capable of satiate my overactive imagination, and while I am not a true writer nor have the intentions of becoming one I do regard myself as a capable RPer.
Greetings, FOG community, I look forward to my stay here.

You are definitely in luck! Fate ((pun completely intended)) created this site as a haven for people like us. We have a large variety of creative minds will excellent skills in writing and role playing.
I'm certain you'll find that for which you're searching, and if you don't find a role play that suits your interest, you can always create one of your own. ^^_^^
Welcome to FoG, Bugg.

The main tips I found useful are:
1) Have fun.
2) Follow FoG's rules.
3) Watch your spelling and grammar - Kathryn will call you out every time because she has nothing better to do.

Those rules are so true! Especially the 3rd one. I have been called out many times. Fortunately it's been in one of my favorite places, the forum games section, that this has happened. Anyway I have found that this is an awesome place to hang out and (as I say in the real world) 'do up some writing'. I hope you enjoy your stay here Bugg Superstar.

Grammar nazi tendencies eh?
Then I apologize in advance for any obvious grammar errors, english is not my first language(not that I excel in norwegian either ). My brain's plasticity is not what it used to be (Yay, psychology).

Well, the only time I'll call out grammar in role plays is if it's in a role play I'm moderating and if it's excessive within my role play. However, the OoC forums are free game, especially if I see people repeating the same mistakes.
Of course, it is up to you to decide whether or not you want to listen to the advice I give. I'm even willing to give explanations for it. My theory is if someone is willing to correct their grammar and spelling in the OoC, they'll be that much better in the IC or if they intend to write books or short stories or something.
People are more than willing to let me know when I've made grammatical and spelling errors, too, and I'm more than willing to laugh and take their advice unless I know it's wrong - in which case I'm more than willing to correct them with examples of why I'm right. XD
I think maybe Loki's right about one thing: I really don't have anything better to do most of the time. However, he's probably failed to realize that I have fun doing it. hahah ^^_^^;;
Bugg, I haven't seen anything outrageously wrong in your OoC writing so far, so I really don't think you have anything about which to worry. You'll do just fine, and your English is excellent.
