Hello There
Hey guys, Dax here!
I am a Montreal resident who has a passion for literature. My writing can (and, mark my words, will) be worked on and what better place to be helped in other than a community of great writers? I am the kind of guy who adores reading and is influenced by the author of the certain book that I read at the moment. It's odd, I know, but maybe once I get better in my writing the asset may become interesting, no? Oh yah, I speak and write in French also. I suffer (believe me, French literature is a pain) and sometimes helped by my influence on it. So, if something seems a bit odd, blame the French!
I love to write and read whenever I can and always look to improve everything and anything I can. My library is always too small. (just for the record, I guess)
Basically, what I find fun in RP is the option to show multiple sides of my personality that I don’t always have the reason to get out. It’s also a great way to canalize my imagination into something constructive other than day-dreaming ....

Re: Hello There
Welcome to FoG, Dax.
Don't worry about your writing style being influenced by whatever book you may be reading at the time. I am the same way, and I always have a new book, so my style fluctuates a lot. It's not such a horrible thing, but I do hope that I'll eventually obtain my own style that won't change depending on whatever work of literature I'm reading. heheh
I hope you enjoy yourself here. This does seem like a good place to improve one's writing in a very fun way. ^^_^^

This will be extremely useful to you. Being able to switch voices in writing is not only fun, it's a useful way of gradually discovering your own unique voice! I love to write like a shapeshifter, taking on different voices.

Hey, and welcome, Dax!
I love your avatar. I sure hope that you achieve what you are looking for here and can also enjoy yourself. :] Wow, and I am officially jealous of you too for being able to speak and write French!
You seem like a really cool person, and I definitely look forward to getting to know you more! ^^
