That first image is a really good picture as far as quality goes. Though I didn't recognize you when I first glimpsed it, I saw your user name and realized it was indeed yourself. You look adorable in that hat.

Yes, that was the beach trip. Taeo had a blast, though it was too cold to go into the water (at least for him). We go to that beach at least once a year, sometimes more It's only a two hour drive west. It's also where Silvone and I got married (not that exact location, but same city).

Oh. I also want to say that you've done a great job looking straight into the sunlight. Whenever I try to look into direct light I always end up looking like this:



While I'm not really looking into direct sunlight ((just a patch of snow that was reflecting large amounts of bright sunlight)), it's still the same effect. My face just scrunches, and I find it impossible to keep my eyes wide without them watering as if I was mincing onions...

No, you haven't mentioned that in the past - that I can remember - but I find it amusing.

Strangely enough, a large portion of people are reminded of another when they look at me. My features are pretty common as far as I've seen which ultimately means there's really nothing remarkable or special about my physical appearance ((aside from my hair colour which is far less common)).

As they say, clichés aren't clichés for nothing. ^^ And actually, if you remind lots of people of other people (does that make sense?), then I suppose you'll have an extra shoe-in when you want to make friends or if you're just chatting with someone in person. ^^

I took a few pictures today because I'm going to be as adamant about my Daily Booth as I am about reading for my fifty book challenge, and I ended with two that I like. The first one is the one that I placed in my Booth.


Misery said that this has a sort of Angelina Jolie feel to it, and the more I look at it, the more I can sort of see it, but I don't claim to really resemble her at all.

I liked this one enough that I finally traded my old April 2008 picture in my profile for this one. ^^_^^

The second is one about which I'm mildly on the fence. It almost seems to be slightly blurry to me, but I can't see how it is... It's an interesting shot in itself, but yeah...

Upon further inspection, I think what's thrown me off course is that the shirt collar is perfectly clear, but the face is blurry. I'm glad I finally discovered the reason for the optical challenge. XD

Well, it's been exactly a year since me and my friend Kyle both attended a game, so he took some pictures of me with my new rig yesterday. He has fun enhancing the photos (as you can tell) but he's not a bad photographer even without the enhancement software. I think this is the only other picture of me on FOG, the first being the photo I posted last year when I joined.

All right, I'm about to do something I never thought I would do for fear of internet stalking: post pictures of myself on a forum *gasp*. But after hanging around here long enough, you all seem like a trustworthy bunch. And if all else fails, my real name is still a secret :-D

This picture was taken at a dance co-hosted by the ballroom club (I've been doing it for four years and am on the exec board) and another organization on campus. I normally don't wear my hair down because it's really thick and a pain to style, but my roommate was awesome and helped me. I also cropped my friend out of the picture, so that's why it looks funny.



So yeah...I'm also on the ballroom team at my university. These pictures were taken at our first competition earlier this month.

My partner and I are doing our signature dip. He likes to goof off like that.



Here we're showing off our 2nd place ribbon for foxtrot and 3rd place for waltz. The one where he was smiling made him look creepy, so I used this one instead.



And here we're doing a crossover break in cha-cha, which is my favorite dance. I tried to touch up the blurriness in iPhoto, but I didn't have my good camera and the pose was just too good to pass up.



So...um...that's me. I don't know what else to say, so I guess I'll go hide in a corner or something and await people's opinions?

*blush* Thanks! And believe me when I say it's never too late to learn to dance. Maybe you and Silvone could take classes together? Though I must admit, ballroom has pretty much ruined it for me because it's kind of a deal breaker for any possible romantic relationship. I'm not saying the guy has to know how to dance right away. He just has to have an open mind and be willing to try it. Though it's harder that one might think to find guys that can dance...

I had thought of taking up dancing that does not require a partner (such as belly dancing), but it is a matter of time and money, neither of which I have much of at the moment

I think it's really cool that you dance in competitions and such. I really don't know how to dance aside from kind of swaying... and the Time Warp... but yeah.

You should post a video of you dancing in the webcam thread! It would be so amazing! I absolutely love to watch people dance when they're good at it.

I love the dresses you wear, and I think you have a really pretty smile. Your teeth are so white and a straight and perfect. ^^_^^
