Yeah. That's understandable. True smiles have a tendency of lighting a person's entire face, thus giving them a more beautiful appearance. That's one reason why I think models should also smile more, but I'm not a photography expert, so oh well. heheh

This thread isn't actually a thread for just any pictures. It was originally made so people would post pictures of themselves for us to see what they look like. I don't really care as much about scenery as I do about seeing what the other users look like, and the fact that people would post tons of pictures of just scenery really made it hard for me to load pictures of the people themselves because I have dial-up. Because of this, I made a thread specifically for scenery pictures, so this thread could stay on topic. ^^_^^

Also, it's not hard to get candid shots where you're smiling a real smile. A lot of times what happens is someone will whip out a camera, and the subject of the picture will automatically freeze and stop smiling even if they were smiling vibrantly before that point. The trick is to remember what makes you really happy when people are taking pictures of you, so you can forget there's a camera in your face, and show that beautiful glow that people see in real life. =3


Also, I think I misjudged you, Danger. You're not a teddy-bear. You're a turtle-bear. XD I love the costume. I can't wait to see it's completion.

I'm getting ready to go out so while I'm doing that I'll probably snap a few quick photos of me in costume to show you guys. I still need the yellow tights though. And no Robin costume is complete without my Batwoman.

Alright, so when the whole costume is together I'll post it in the Halloween thread. These pictures will go here now though.





I look kinda devious in both of these pictures. It worries me. Anyway, as you can see the skirt is way to short which essentially makes it slut wear. So I went out and bought a pair of golden tights. The mask is a bit snug so I just plan to attach it with hair clips.

Sadly no. D: I'm such a geek I saw the costumes and they were all black and yellow to which I let out a loud ass sigh. None of my friends knew what the fuck I was so upset over. The Joker costumes were all pretty damn accurate. Some of the more expensive ones even came with the same stains on them as the TDK Joker.

Not like being visually accurate matters. Halloween costumes don't need to look accurate. They just need to be clingy and revealing. You know, because Halloween totally isn't about being scary or anything.

My costume isn't revealing or super clingy. It gives me a nice figure. I just need to remember to stand straight with my shoulders back and my pudge sucked firmly in. ^^_^^;;

You know, I was seriously having doubts about whether or not I could make a proper elf, but after dressing up in full costume a couple of days ago, I realized that, yes, I did pull it off quite well. I also never realized I had high ((or at least somewhat high)) cheekbones until I wore blush, and a friend of mine gave me a tip with it and stated that it was better to do it that way because it accentuates my already high cheekbones. Totally made me feel awesome because I think high cheekbones- when not too severe- are gorgeous. Like... Taylor Swift or Angelina Jolie or Cher before she had all of that work done on herself.

Hrm... I think tomorrow I'm going to try to convince my friend to take costume pictures together if she can. The weather should hold out- I hope.
