Re: The brooch of Tel'Kariath
@Kail, I didn't mean this to be an extreme PnP game. it's just that D&D had many parallels to the world. I don't mean this to be "you encounter Lias, roll diplomacy check for quest!" it was just convenient.
Also, I laughed when I read Fala'papa'langi. It sounded funny to me.
Anyhoo, you're accepted.

Re: The brooch of Tel'Kariath
I have my characters full background posted in my 'library' now if y'all are interested enough to take a look. I will post before I leave on vacation tomorrow, and leave him 'trekking' in a vague direction to make it easier to write myself back into the story when I get back.
Re: The brooch of Tel'Kariath
So... I know this is a casual role play, and I don't have to make such long posts, but I really can't help it. I always end up making posts a bit longer without even trying so hard. It's just that I get all of these ideas in my head for a post, and I can't stop myself.
I just noticed that everyone else is getting pretty short with their posts, and I hope I'm not being annoying by posting longer posts.

I'm definitely not annoyed Kathryn it helps/makes me want to write more. I think I ran into a wall on my second post that is part writers block and part fear of having the RP die. I pray it doesn't. Anyway, keep up the amazing writing. I enjoy reading your posts.

Okay. I just wasn't sure. Sometimes when I start hitting writers block, I also start hitting a readers block that makes me not want to read a long post, but right now I'm doing well in both areas ((as you probably noticed)). I'm glad that I can help inspire you to write more. I understand your not wanting the role play to die. This is a casual forum, though, so if it takes people a long time to post, it happens. However, I think I heard that the creator of this rp was facing a dash of writer's block, too, but I can't remember where, so your posting was a good idea.

That... is very inconvienient for me. Who will be gone and unable to come within at least a mile of any computer until around Saturday or Sunday next week.
Anyways, to make up for the gap I have to get myself OOTP quick. A remarkably difficult feat.

We could always just mill around the tavern until you get back Drunut - I think it will be tough to get into the actual adventuring while you are gone anyway.
Just a thought.

Re: The brooch of Tel'Kariath
hmmm, that could work. Just use major character development. ALOT of it.

Re: The brooch of Tel'Kariath
I know I haven't posted in a long while, but I have been busy. I am working on my post now.
I have an idea for where this story may first go when they begin their quest. I was thinking that perhaps the first stage would lead through the forest? Nemera could lead them through it easily, and it would also be a good time for her to return home to grab things like more herbs and her bow and arrows?
How does that sound? Is everyone still involved in this, including Drunut?

I'm still here, and I support that direction - I'm going to read your post now.
Re: The brooch of Tel'Kariath
Hey hey heeeey, I'm still here! Just have to retool my post to fit your post is all. :-T
Anyways, we need to go through the forest regardless due to the brooch's location. So I support it.

Is it safe to assume this role play is dead?
