R.I.P Patrick Swayze.
This is so sad, but I guess he's better off now. After all he's been suffering from cancer for how long now? Jeez it just seems like all the stars we grew up with are dying. It's sad.
WE <3 YOU PATRICK!

Wow, I didn't hear about this yet, but I guess he just died today? He was only 57 years old. That's sad, but at least he is no longer suffering from battling cancer. Rest in peace.
Re: R.I.P Patrick Swayze.
Hmm, and yet there won't even be a three day shock for his death like there was for Michael Jackson. Oh, the irony. Only these stars who live a life full of ridiculous dramatic controversy get huge memorial services. That is what is sad here.
As far as Patrick dying, it isn't sad. Not in my eyes. It is a shame, to be certain but I don't get any feelings of sadness. I'd rather look to what the man accomplished in life than show sorrow over his passing. His conscious is gone from us and he will now slowly filter back into the Universe to give life to something else. The cycle goes on.
Here is to a life well spent, a shame that suffering from cancer had to be the ending of his days.

I'm so sorry to hear about Patrick's death. He was such an amazing dancer, and I loved his performance in Dirty Dancing. He was also a great family man I hear, having been faithful to his wife for over 30 years. He will certainly be missed.

I was so sad when I heard that he was gone. My brother told me, and seriously, I thought he was lying. He was a great actor and he'll be missed.

Is it really terrible that I can no longer think of anything other than,
"Yo, Patrick Swayze, I know you just died and all, and I'll let you finish, but Michael Jackson had the best death of the year!"
What a way for me to come back to the forums. XD <3

Re: R.I.P Patrick Swayze.
I only feel bad that he was so young and the time leading up to his death was terrible. My mom died of cancer, but it took her a lot more swiftly than it took Swayze, and I'm glad that she didn't have to suffer nearly as long as he did. I didn't see my mom in the months that led up to her death, but I saw the tabloid images of Swayze, and I think it's terrible how much cancer degrades the body... I'm glad that he's finally free of the pain, and I will always be grateful that he left his mark as a wonderful dancer and a talented actor before he went.
