They would tell me that death is only the beginning of a great afterlife. How I would love to tell them how wrong they were. To tell them that sometimes, as in my case, death is the beginning of forever. A cold, hard forever. A forever I would both trade, and yet never surrender. I cannot tell if I love this nefarious existence, or if I absolutely despise it.

Either way, I should enjoy it. For I have awaken.

And slumber shall not take me when this land is so ripe with covetousness.

I dare them to stop me.
