Well anyway, I'm here to introduce myself to all of you.

I'm Jenna, I've been role-playing for about eight years now and I have loved every minute of it. I have been on many role-playing sites. I won't name them, but I'm sure some of you have heard of some.

I am currently an active member on another forum, and I don't plan on changing that with this forum. I just plan on expanding my roleplaying experience by being an active member on two different forums. We'll see how it works out.

I roleplay many different types of genres. The only one I have ever flat out rejected it fanfiction. I am a firm believer of not changing what an author or story writer has already written. I feel fanfiction does that to someones creation.

You and I have been role-playing for almost the same amount of time. ^^ It is quite a fun hobby.

I think expanding your role-playing experience is a great thing, and we certainly don't expect all of our members to make this their home base. So long as being here suits you too, that's fine with us!

I haven't really ever thought about fan fiction in that light, but that makes a lot of sense, and I can really see how you'd not want to reshape something that isn't your creation.

Well, I hope that you find some entertaining role-plays here, and I look forward to seeing you around the boards!

Welcome to FoG, Jenna. I hope you enjoy yourself here, and I hope you are able to maintain stability between two forums. I have a hard time doing that, so I just stick to one, really.

I know how you feel about fanfiction. I have often felt the same way. I usually just go with original characters in a pre-fabricated world as a sort of balance between fan fiction and keeping things the way they're meant to be. Except where Zutara is concerned... but... I'm not completely sound in my mind. >.>;;
