Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Oh. Thank goodness. I'm not offended, but I am relieved though I hope that relief does not offend you.
Yeah. I can see why you would like her. I'm like... none of those things. I'm average height, unappealing figure, okay face. I'm also brash, but I can be loving when the mood suits me, and I'm loyal.
I find it interesting that one who makes such a lovely wench in drag is such a softy. ^o_~^ I'd also like to say that your angry letter in another thread was quite mellow when compared with the sort of angry rants I have seen in the past. :: pats ::

Heh, even at my fiercest, I seem "meek n' mild". No wonder she told me that she thought *Person 2's* letter was "restrained" (a comment to which my jaw DROPPED) even when it told me to "eat cock and die" in the end.
Then again... I passed my "physical anger" stage. Back then, I THREW stuff and punched holes through blackboards x'D
Your relief doesn't offend me. I think I'm well passed the crotch-patting stage of adolescence, thank God in Heaven.
And nonsense, I've seen your pics... you're just being modest. And loyalty is among the most important thing, which goes hand-in-hand with shared values.
A hot bod doesn't kill, though... in fact, obesity does. Guys who tell their gals "doesn't matter how much weight" should end their sentences with "but I'd really rather you take care of yourself, too" or some variation.

I celebrate hanging out with a friend, no boyfriend attached. And she even asked me for once!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Oh, grats! You probably had an impact on her the day you decided to walk out. Your friend does care! However, try to make sure that does not make you avert or dislike the guy either. Try to be friends with all three at once. Maybe you'll grow close enough that your friend will include you more in activities with her boyfriend.
I mean that in as innocent a manner as possible, I PROMISE.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Aww. Thanks, Adrius. That's sweet of you. Hrm... When I was little I used to use physical anger against other people, but I was never one to break something on purpose. I always figured I may want it later, and I didn't want to have to clean of the mess. Now, I just yell a lot. XD
I'm glad your friend asked you to hang out with her boyfriend. It's actually probably better for her relationship that she does't spend every day with him. I've learned that too much time with someone can make things dull or stressful.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
We had to type up our group's proposal today for my Capstone class, which was basically saying why we were a group and what our overall theme was, along with what our individual topics were going to be. Well, I was the one typing this (which was I wanted, since I'm in a group with two other guys that didn't seem like they...cared XD), and one of the guys was reading what I was typing, and he turned to me, poked me, and said (almost as if surprised), "You're smart." That was an awesome compliment. I suppose my intelligence really doesn't seep into or let itself be fully known in the real world and in real life conversations, but he must have noticed something in my written work that made him say that, lol. I'm no genius by any means or standards whatsoever, but still. It's nice for a girl to hear. A good compliment -- which he gave twice... Haha
Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I've gotten that same surprised comment, but after sophomore year, people stopped acting so surprised. College is a different story.

That's awesome at least that people all accepted it for you while you were in high school.
Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I am celebrating wildly because my dear, sweet friend came back from Comicon and I got to talk to her after a week <3
Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Aww. That's cool. I've never been to a comicon. I bet it's fun.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Yeah, my friend even apologized (sorta) while we were hanging out. She explained that she didn't mean to stay in there so long, and so on. I felt extremely happy.
I celebrate page 90 of the story my friend and I are working on together! I also celebrate finally getting to write the part I've been waiting for since we started! -beams-

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Well, I wouldn't really call it a secret anymore, since we've been telling so many different people about it thanks to the script we're working on filming. But how to describe it...
The series is entitled "Arcane", and currently consists of five books (or at least five separate ideas, since we've really only been working on one or two of them so far). The story I keep talking about all the time would be the third book, and it's a fantasy series. I'm no good with summaries, but it essentially involves an unlikely group of people who end up saving the world from demons who are trying to eliminate all humans. It sounds almost cliche when I explain it like that...
I've been co-writing the series for close to six years with my best friend. It's practically my life.

Sometimes cliché things actually turn out to be really awesome. I hope when you're finished you're able to get them published. I would totally read them.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
That's been our goal for a good portion of the six years. When we get published ('when', not 'if', because I'm going to publish these no matter how long it takes!) I'll definitely be spreading the word around. When I can actually talk, since I'll probably be so excited that I'll only be able to babble.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
My girlfriend is heading to the breeder's kennel today to get an idea of the personalities of the Malamutes that I've been having my eyes on. In light of the other people that are deciding on the pups, it is time to make my own decision. Hopefully I'll have made a deposit on the puppy that I have been looking forward to for the longest time!
PUPPIES!!!
Here are the ones I am trying to decide between:

O_O
OH!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!
*adoration unbound*
I'm a fan of huskies, but this breed seems to be very close in resemblance. *sigh* Reminds me of my own dog, Shasta, way back when. I never got to see her as a puppy (I was born after she was fully grown) but some years later we also got another dog called Vito.
T_T
I need a pet... bloody apartment doesn't allow either. It's either a husky or a cat.

So cute!
I celebrate shows that make me laugh like The Soup and the Colbert Report. Especially after finals when I need a laugh.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Am I stupid, or are the first two images the same dog?
You should spend a bit of time with each to determine which one has the best personality.
I celebrate... I celebrate... Well... I guess I celebrate only four hours of work, but I'm sure I'll complain about my paycheck on Friday.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
They are similar because they are from the same litter, one that I met two months ago. Notice how the first has a blaze on its forehead while the second has a silver coat while the first has a sable one.
My girlfriend is going today to get an idea of their temperaments to see which one would fit best with me. Either that or I risk loosing the ability to choose between them since there are a few other potential buyers looking at them.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Loki, I am jealous. ): No matter which one you choose (though I'd totally pick the first one 'cause he/she looks adorable and playful!). But I hope you get the one you want!
-has wanted anything remotely similar to a husky since forever, but isn't allowed one 'cause they shed- But one day! -raises fist-
I celebrate, um, the really good shish kabob that I had in the city today. And the fact that I'm home, and I didn't feel carsick!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I was just informed by my manager that my exceptional work for this summer has allowed me to earn a $500 scholarship. However, since I am an intern and not a co-op, that money gets applied to my next paycheck directly rather than being sent to the school.
