Celebrating the purchase of new computer parts!!
I'm pretty much rebuilding my entire machine. I built my current computer about 7 years ago and I've continued to update it over the years, but it has finally reached its end. It has been giving me problems lately and one of my hard drives just died. So I'm very excited for something new
For anyone into being a huge geek like me and wants to know the specs on my current PC and my new one
Over the past 7 years, my PC has had:
-2 Pentium 4 processors (2.4 and currently 3.0ghz)
-2 AGP video cards (Nvidia FX5700 and currently 7600GS)
-3 Hard drives (70gb -died years ago, 80gb, and 250gb -just recently died)
-2 Motherboards (Abit that died last year and now a Foxconn)
-2gb DDR memory
-3 Different cases, various CD/DVDR drives, and 2 power supplies
My new computer:
-AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition 3.0ghz

Yay!
And...
That's a lot to have done to your computer of the past 7 years, hun. I really don't understand most of that, but I'm glad you do. Isn't Foxconn seriously like a virus that kills people in Metal Gear? LOL! Ohh. No. That was FoxDie.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
I finally got my books!
I've been waiting like...FOREVER... for the first four books of the Dark Tower series.
I finished The Gunslinger this afternoon and I'm going to start The Drawing of the Three soon.
:3
They are very good books from what I've heard. I might write reviews for the site later on.

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Yup.
Do you happen to have a thread for things like movie reviews and book reviews?
That would be something interesting to have.
:3
Just another idea!
lol

A thread? Nope! That would be a cool idea! ^^ It would be interesting to see different movies/books/video games/etc. reviewed by everyone, I think.

What happened that had you lose your power?
I'm celebrating that it's late, and I'm still not asleep! I'm celebrating that I found something to celebrate about! I'm celebrating because I've hit writers block! YAY!!!

I don't see how writer's block is something to celebrate... It's a formidable enemy of mine.
I celebrate that I'm going to get my tattoo on this coming Thursday! Head on over to the thread I made to design a tattoo for me! The specifications are in the thread!

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
Oh goodness gracious... jello shots.
Let me tell ya, if 10 years old at a new years eve party with Hispanic relatives, do not sneak-eat the jello because they aren't just telling you not to eat it because it's late. Ever since that night I have been turned away from jello. T-T

Ha Ha, I try my best! ^_^
I celebrate the content haze I'm able to indulge in for the first time in months: that today has been a grand enjoyment, and that I got to talk to my twin and say good bye

Re: The Celebration Thread :D
sadly, both.
Lack of inspiration for one thing, and limitless inspiration for another just no way of writing it down coherently. It's a friggin' beast.
