I just joined today and would like to indroduce myself. In RPG Gateway I'm known by the same name. My real name is Philip L., though I prefer 'Phil'. I'm going-on-10th grade. I live in a small town(~2200) in Upstate New York called Clyde. My school is called Clyde-Savannah, the team the Golden Eagles, the colors Purple and Gold.

Well, that's my RL outline, now RPs. I've been RPing for roughly a year. I didn't discover RP sites until about six months ago, and that site was RPG Gateway. Fate Foretold informed me of this site and I decided to join. Sonce I haven't really done anthing, I really can't say whether I like it or not, though I'm leaning-Like.

Answering the call of Fate, the brave knight strode... well, bravely... into the swirling mists... of the FOG....... *oooooooooo* The Purple-haired Girl of the Fogbanks of the Northern Wood appeared, suddenly, as if out of nowhere and offered eerie welcome. On her heels were the eternally soft footsteps of Fate, coming to welcome her brave knight into her domain.

What the brave knight could not have anticipated was the presence of... other beings... <,< >.> ...beings of... daaaaark intent *oooooooooo* who with a gaze could turn the unprepared to stone or... <,< >.> ...worse.... Known as the Purveyors of Awesomeness, these apparitions of doooooom haunt the misty FOG, and they are feared... dreaded... and terrified... by all who enter. Be wary, or they'll get you with their mysterious doooooom breath. 0> ~

A pointy-eared knight in shining armor pokes his head out from behind a tree. The rest of him soon follows. He doesn't really do much, except go over to stand close to his Bother Knight sort of person, and lend what support he can. ...Assuming there is any support to be had from... <,< >.> ...Those With Pointy Ears....

Regardless, the pointy-eared knight leans over and whispers, "Welcome... to the FOG!"

The Deadpool thing was funny

@Fate Foretold: I thank you for complimenting my writing, and for inviting me here. And I think I'll take you up on that offer: Question-Since I haven't really got a chance to read it yet, what's that Caligo thing?

Phil strolls with a purpose through the mists and daaaark beings as if they aren't there(in fact, he walks right through one without noticing).

When the pointy-eared knight comes toward him he stops, ready for anything....and gets a welcome. "I'm in a FOG?" he asks, looking around, then shrugs. "I hadn't noticed, oh and hello," he points toward where the knight had come from, "I take it I should be going that way?"

Welcome to FOG, Phidius - wonderful to have you! And yes, believe it or not, I actually know exactly where Clyde is! *grins* I grew up in upstate New York too, in a small town about a half hour west of Syracuse.

Out of the FOG, some psycho walking on his hands approaches the two already standing there. Once he realizes there are others there, he gets onto his feet and coughs. "Oh, hello my good fellows" He stated in a rather insane sounding voice. "You there, newbie, don't go that way" He stated to the new kid.

"Instead, I recommend you go that way!" He stated, pointing in the opposite direction, the direction that had a pool filled with sharks. "There's a pool that way you know"

[Phidius]

Phil hears a weird sort of walking coming in his and the pointy-eared knight's direction and rests a hand on the haft of his sword(a hand-and-a-half).

When he sees that it is some lunatic walking on his hands he grips his the haft, but doesn't draw the sword.

Then the figure speaks of a pool. "Yes, I saw it," he says, "It smells of ocean carnivores...is that why you want me going over there, good fellow?" he asks matter-of-factly.

@Igraine: It's good to 'hear' that someone hails from my locale! Which town? I may have been there before.

[Ragter the junior greeter]

Now, Ter was rather worried when he saw the person not known as Kalon grip the sword, but was also quite glad when the newbie didn't draw his sword at all.

"Ah...ocean carnivores? Well, to be honest, yes, that's why I want you to go over there" He stated to him.

"You see, they've been quite a problem! That's FOG's official pool over there and out of nowhere sharks decide to infest it. I figure since you're so..knightly looking, you could take care of it" Ter said.

[Kalon Ordona II]

"Fai upon He Who Brought The Sharks! Cur! Villain! Have at ye!" *mock battle, K vs. R, ensues* "It's the Purveyors of Awesomeness! Chaaarge!!" xD

[Phidius]

Phil stands by and scratches his head. "Ok...I think I'll take care of the sharks now," He then turns toward the pool and begins walking away. He stops and turns around when he realizes he's forgotten something. He walks back and puts out his hand, "I'm Phil, by the way," he said, "Just so you know." he smiled good-naturedly.

[Ragter the junior greeter]

Ter looked at Phil, his arm bent in an odd position due to his mock fight with Kalon. Of course, it didn't really hurt, due to what he was, but still, it looked odd to Phil probably. "Ah, Phil, I'm Ter! Rag is somewhere else at the moment" Ter responded, shaking the good fellow's hand. With that out of the way, Ter turned to Kalon and attacked with his fist.

[Dio the Awesome]

"HALT FOUL BEAST OF THE LAND!" A deep voice bellowed.

"I HAVE ARRIVED TO UNLEASH A TEMPEST OF WOES UPON YOUR LAND! FLEE, COWER, TREMBLE, FOR THE MIGHT OF THE DARK LORD WILL DEVOUR YOU ALL!"

The sound seems to be coming from a hollow log. The group investigates.

"WOE TO ALL WHO OPPOSES ME! BUT FEAR NOT MORTALS, I AM OFFERING SALVATION FOR 10 PAINLESS PAYMENTS OF $75.95. LIFE CAN BE YOURS FOR A LIMITED TIME OFFER. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE, PREVENT THE COMING DOOM WITHIN THE NEXT FIVE MINUTES, AND I WILL SPARE YOUR LIVES, AND GIVE YOU FINE CHEESE GRATER!"

Ragter kicks the log over, to reveal Diodri crouching in the bushes.

"Oh uh... Welcome to the boards?"

[Ragter the junior greeter]

Ragter could only shake his head and utter three letters, "wtf"

[Phidius]

Phil looks at the person hiding in the bushes, "Uh, hello?" he says awkwardly. "I've only got ten bucks, but you're not getting it....."

@Everyone: This is a sad day everyone, for my hamster Lionel has died. Please pray that his soul may rest in peace.

[Ragter the junior greeter]

Ragter would get on his knees at this revelation. "Oh Lionel, dearest Lionel! We here at FOG shall miss you dearly! Let's take a moment in silence...for Lionel ;-;" With that said, Ragter would close his eyes solemnly and just stay there on his knees in silence.

[Phidius]

Phil gets down on his own knees and puts his hand together in prayer, "You were a good hamster, Lionel," he began, "You may have bit me a few times, but I forgive you for it. I miss the way you looked curiously out of your cage when someone was nearby, the way you slept in the bottom corners in your final weeks, and especially your energy. May you rest in peace." he sat there silently, giving others a chance to say their respects.

[Kalon Ordona II]

*bows head solemnly* "He was a good hamster... Lionel... he... he stirred that ham with all he had. He just, stirred and stirred... nobody could have stirred it better. Ham was... it was his life. ...Even on his days of he'd..." *sniffle* "...he'd just practice and practice on that wheel, just so he could become a better hamster. All he wanted was to be really useful. And he was... ...he really, really was. Lionel...." *sob* "Never was stirred ham so full of love. Phil's casseroles and sandwiches... there was something special about them... there was always that extra something. The knowledge that the ham had been stirred by the best hamster there ever was. It made Christmas... Thanksgiving... even summer picnics... ...such wonderful times. Lionel brought so much joy to so many people. He will always, always be remembered." *solemn nod* *tear* "Rest in peace, noble Lionel... and know that never in your life have your deeds been in vain. Your selflessness will live forever in our hearts."


((R.I.P. Lionel... I never knew ya, butcha were obviously loved by your buddy Phil. If you're treading that wheel in the sky somewhere, be at peace and know that you've earned your right to a halo. Or Phil's Halo, if he's got one. I'm sure he would have wanted you to have it.))

*pats Phil* Make a cairn for the little guy. A really nice one, with natural rocks and pebbles.
Unless he'd prefer cremation. Was he always clean? That might be more sanitary.

"Thank you, Kalon, so very much," Phil said, "For you kind words despite the fact that you never knew him. He'll be buried pretty soon, a good burial with a nice-sized hole and all of his stuff. I dug it myself, my own sweat is in it. And I also put him and his favorite things(food dish, water bottle, and sat nibbler) into the box he came in, then covered it with masking tape to protect it from the elements. A sort of mummification, if you will. And we went out to eat in honor of him, had Pizza Hut." he smiles despite the sad, sad occaision.
