. : Name : .
Full Name: Brenard san Deccour
Use Name: Brenard
Other: Brenard the Ugly
Played by: Stion Gyas
. : Appearance : .
Height and Build: Short for a human man, Brenard stands just over 5’9” tall. His stature is matched with a dancer’s build, all sleek muscles designed for speed and agility.
Description: As a boy Brenard was struck with the pox, leaving a spattering of pock marks across his body. His face contains the highest concentration of the marks, ruining an otherwise handsome face. Beneath the marks Brenard’s face is very light. He has a small brow, set over amber eyes. His nose is small, and hangs over a mouth that would look just as beautiful scowling as it would smiling. The pox left a series of pits across his face, giving him the appearance of having acid dripped onto his face. The scars stretch his face tight and shine dully in the light. Brenard wears his black hair, streaked with a few gray hairs, to his shoulders, and tied back at the nape of the neck. Overall, Brenard’s body is slim, with smooth muscles earned from years of training.
Clothing: Brenard’s clothing reflect his belief that agility is the best defense. He wears simple clothing designed to provide the ultimate flexibility and comfort. His tunic and trousers are cut from a durable cloth and are fitted to provide unhampered movement and comfort. Over his tunic Brenard wears a leather vest to provide some protection, as well as pockets. A wide leather belt circles his waist, several pouches hang from it. To top it all off, Brenard wears knee-high leather boots and a wide-brimmed hat.
Weapons: Brenard carries with him a small selection of weapons, most hidden throughout his clothing, but one is very obvious. His rapier hangs at his right hip. The weapon, designed by a skilled weaponsmith, is well-balanced, but very simple. The blade is narrow, and inch wide at its thickest, and ends with a triangular point forty inches from the basket hilt. The whole of the weapon is made of high-quality steel, with boar’s hide to provide a sturdy grip. The same weaponsmith designed Brenard’s three daggers, all balanced for throwing. He hides one in each boot, and one strapped to his forearm.
Other: In the pouches of his belt and his vest pockets Brenard carries a whetstone and the necessary implements to keep his weapons clean. Another pouch holds a handful of coins of varying value.
Impression: It takes an open heart to view Brenard as anything but ugly. His eyes are very striking and demand attention.
. : Heritage : .
Age: 42
Birthplace: Brenard was born in a mid-sized city in the Black Mountains named Mons.
Family: The san Deccour family is a well-established merchant group. In fact, his family was one of the first to open secret dealings with the elves. His parents are Alfred san Deccour and his wife, Patricia. Both are still alive and kicking and welcome Brenard whenever he stops by for a visit.
Inheritance: Brenard’s family, merchants the lot of them, taught him the basics a merchant needs to make a living. He has learned how to appraise goods, make a profit, and find a new market. On top of that he received history and geography lessons to help pave his way. After expressing an interest in fencing the san Deccours obliged their only child and hired a tutor.
Other: Brenard knows merchants in at least every major city, and he has his parents to back his finances up.
. : Persona : .
Biography:When Alfred learned that Patricia was with child he immediately settled, purchasing an upscale house in Mons, where they had been negotiating a trade agreement. The san Deccours established their household, and prepared to welcome Brenard into the world. Unfortunately, Brenard’s welcome was rather rude.
Weeks after his birth young Brenard became stricken with the pox. He survived, barely, but was left with scars across his body. Because of his scars Brenard lived a lonely childhood. The other merchant children feared “Brenard the Ugly” and avoided him at all costs.
Distressed, his parents began teaching him their trade and often brought him along on their many trips. When, at the age of sixteen, he expressed an interest in fencing they hired a tutor to teach him the fine art. Brenard continued to fence until he could best his tutor in duels both fair and not. He was twenty seven. At the age of thirty, with his parents’ blessing, Brenard packed his belongings and left to travel.
Motivation: Brenard is often shunned because of his appearance. He travels to find a place where he is accepted by those who are not family.
Skills and Talents: Brenard’s most defining skill is his fencing ability. Years of training, since he was sixteen, have sharpened his skill with the rapier to a high degree. In terms of ranking Brenard is of the third echelon, two steps away from the most skilled warriors in the land. Due to his parents’ teachings he is adept at reading a market, finding a deal, and all of the other subtleties of a merchant’s trade.
Strengths: Brenard is a loyal friend and a worthy foe. He is fast and agile, and very skilled with a rapier.
Weaknesses: The pox damaged his immune system so severely that it never fully recovered and he is very susceptible to sickness. The pox also left his face scarred and ugly.
Personality: Brenard has little religious background, but he is a believer in Zephiris. He won’t go out of his way for a religious gathering, nor has he memorized much of the scripture. His appearance leaves him withdrawn from those he does not know. With friends and family, however, he is more outgoing, and reveals a softer side to an otherwise hard man.

Re: Stion Gyas's Adventuring Party
Name: Eo Caliga
Race: Human
Age: 36
Class: Nomad (Ranger/Rogue)
Appearance: Eo cuts his hair short himself with his dagger, giving him a ragged appearance. A spattering of gray hairs have grown in his brown hair, evidence of his age. Like many of his tribe, the nomad has a high brow over brown eyes. His nose is hawkish, and hovers over a mouth set in a permanent frown. He keeps his beard short, also trimmed with his dagger.
Eo's long and skinny frame is deeply tanned from a lifetime outside. His corded muscles are surprisingly strong for their size. An arrow wound just below his collar bone has left a puckered scar. The scar restricts the movement of his left arm, preventing it from reaching full across his body.
Personality: By necessity, Eo is a practical man. He avoids unnecessary pomp and ceremony and cuts straight to business. As such, Eo is a blunt man, unafraid to speak his mind or to tell the truth. Despite his loyalty, honesty and practicality, Eo makes a terrible leader. He prefers the shadows to being out front.
Equipment
Weapons: Eo carries a longsword and composite short bow. He hides two daggers amidst his clothing. His longsword is crafted of adamantine and is magically strengthened. The blade is edged on both sides and narrows to a gradual triangular point. The hand-and-a-half hilt provides room for both hands, but isn't ungainly when used with a single hand. The arrows he fires from his short bow are capable of snuffing flames in a heartbeat.
Armor: Eo's armor doubles as his clothing and is made up of a series of leather patches all sewn together with double stitching. The patches are flexible, soft, and irregular, creating a patchwork appearance. The armor covers Eo from neck to elbows to feet. He wears a leather bracer on his left arm to protect his skin from the bow string. Soft knee-high boots cover his feet, and make little noise when moving. Eo avoids cloaks, as they often prove more inhibiting that is worth the trouble.
Skills and Abilities: Eo is a talented archer. He can hit a moving target at two hundred paces, and has killed at over one hundred paces. When the combat gets up close and personal the nomad is a capable swordsman able to batter an opponent's defenses or slide his blade into an opening. His most remarkable skill, however, is his ability to hide and remain hidden.

Re: Stion Gyas's Adventuring Party
Name: Ethan Davis
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Appearance: Ethan is a tall Caucasian male with short brown hair and brown eyes. Upon his last check, Ethan stands just over six feet tall, and weighs around one hundred eighty pounds. He is mostly skinny, but has some muscling from moving machine parts. It's a rare day to find him without grease spattering his hands and face.
When expecting work he prefers wearing blue cover alls, and boots that are resistant to grease. When relaxing you're more likely to find him wearing a sweat suit and sneakers.
Bio: Ethan was a born mathematician and mechanic. His family supported his skills throughout his life. They were able to afford him enough time at college to earn him the very basics in mechanical engineering, and he went on from there.
After college, Ethan joined a small ship crew as their engineer, sharpening his skills and learning a few tricks of the trade. Unfortunately, their ship began to degrade even further, and Ethan left in disgust. He spent years on different ships and in different shops, learning, practicing, spreading his name around.
It wasn't too long afterwards that the Jerry Jackson found him, and brought him aboard. Ethan packed his clothes and his tools, and moved in.

Re: Stion Gyas's Adventuring Party
. : Name : .
Full Name: Tuula Brendersen
Use Name: Tuula
Other: Tuu, but only his sister may use it.
Played by: Stion Gyas
. : Appearance : .
Height and Build: Slightly taller than average, Tuu is heavily built all over.
Description: Tall and heavily built, Tuu resembles an ox. He is by no means slow, but is not the quickest of men. His torso is well-muscled, with a V-chest and broad shoulders. His upper back is tattooed with the Rune for Air, a triangle split in two by a single horizontal slash. The triangle and slash are indigo in color, leaving the center skin color. A scar twists the line that cuts the triangle in two.
Tuu’s hatchet-like face frames pale grey eyes. His broad chin and jaw sit below a wide mouth and large nose. His eyes lashes and eyebrows are so pale as to seem invisible on his pale forehead. A heavy brow hides his eyes. Fine, strawberry blonde hair contrasts brightly with his white face. Despite a heavier facial structure, there is no doubt that he is Tuuli’s twin.
Clothing: Tuu wears clothing designed for sailing the relatively cool waters between Mandor and Sephalia. He wears heavy cotton pants and a linen shirt beneath a cotton vest. The vest is buckled closed. Light leather boots help provide traction, and keep his feet from the cold and wet. When a storm appears on the horizon, he pulls on an oiled canvas coat. An indigo scarf holds his hair back, and keeps his ears warm. His clothes are simply dyed in blues and greys. A leather belt encircles his waist, covered by a blue sash.
Weapons: Tuu prefers the axe over any other weapon. He carries a bearded axe with a haft comfortably long enough to use with two hands, or with one. A smaller, balanced axe he uses for throwing is thrust through his belt opposite the bearded axe. Across the small of his back he wears a sax, with a foot long blade, and a small hilt. The sax triples as a weapon, tool and eating utensil.
Other: Tuu wears a wide ring around the third finger on his right hand. He refuses to sell it.
Impression: Tuu strikes people as a lowly sailor with a penchant for axes.
. : Heritage : .
Age: 52
Birthplace: The town called Pon, built on the Gulf of Telmural. Pon is flanked to the north and south by its sister towns, North and South Pon. The three rival towns to the west are North Telm, South Telm, and Telm.
Family: Tuula’s closest relative is his twin sister, Tuuli. Their father, Arvo, was lost to sea fishing. Their mother, Olia lives a comfortable life, supported by the business they left their uncles, Jorgen, Roald, and Folke. Jorgen and Folke are the brothers of their father. Roald is Olia’s brother.
Inheritance: Their father’s Yellow jack-Jack fishing business, and an old silver ring Arvo used to wear.
Other: Ibn Dashur, a merchant based out of Telmural that helped to transport and sell their catch. Baron D’Armitage who bought their catch for excellent prices and who now contracts them to hunt pirates.
. : Persona : .
Biography: Tuula was born ten minutes before his sister Tuuli, but from when she was born onward, they were inseparable. Their childhood was lean, as their father tried his hand at fishing the Yellow Jack-Jack, but he gradually got more skilled at his job. At the age of fifteen, they joined their father on his boat, and began learning the trade. A decade after they began fishing, their father was pulled under by a Yellow Jack-Jack, never to be seen again.
After a period of grief, Tuula and his sister took over their father’s job. Their uncles supported them, and, using their father’s teachings, they began to make a name for themselves. Their father’s merchant contact continued to work with them, transporting their expensive hauls, and selling them to a rich baron, who paid well for the delicacy.
Fifteen years later, the twins were attending an annual fair that was held by the people of Pon and Telm. There, they met a man who was very much interested in the pair. He went on at length about magic, how humans could perform it in pairs, and how twins were more capable of performing it than others. It piqued their interest, and, after making their decision, traveled with him to Telmural to learn the art.
While studying magic, their uncles continued to support the family, and send them enough to cover room and board. During the grueling decade that they spent in Telmural, they hired various members of Ibn’s extensive merchant guards to give them training in different weapons during their spare time. Tuula focused on the axe, and Tuuli preferred the bow. By the time their training in magic had ended, the twins were fluent in Draconic, and skilled with a variety of weapons, but most specifically their weapon of choice.
Upon their graduation, an old contact got in touch with the pair. Baron D’Armitage sent a messenger offering them a new job with which to practice their new abilities. They accepted the offer, and were hired aboard a ship as crew members. Their primary job was to affect the weather for better sailing, but they also helped to capture the pirates they were sent for. On board the pirate hunting vessel they further honed their skills with weapons.
Motivation: The chance to make life safer for fishermen, and to advance their own business’s chances.
Skills and Talents: Tuula is skilled primarily with the axe, but also knows the basics of the bow, mace, sword and spear. He is fluent in both the human language and Draconic, and can read and write in both. He is a skilled fisherman and sailor. He can navigate via the sun and stars, as well as read and draw maps. With his sister he is capable of wind magic, specifically weather-affecting spells.
Strengths: Tuula is physically strong, and has a breadth of skills. He works best with his sister. He is a hard worker, and has strong business sense. With his sister, he is also quite skilled in wind magic.
Weaknesses: When Tuula is alone he is not quite as capable as with his sister. He also possesses a short temper, and often acts before he thinks.
Personality: Unlike his sister, Tuu is rash. He acts before thinking, and is quick to anger. When asked his opinion he will tell you exactly what he thinks. However, at the core he is very similar to his sister. Hard work is the only work, and working hard is how to do it. He plows through obstacles, never slowing for a moment. He constantly reaches towards the next level, and doesn’t celebrate when he reaches it, but moves for the next step. In all, he is a solid, dependable man.

Re: Stion Gyas's Adventuring Party
. : Name : .
Full Name: Z’anginthel Seka-Manh
Use Name: Z’ang
Other: He is oft called Seka-Manh (One Horn), or Than Gadan (The Mountain) when his back is turned.
Played by: Stion Gyas
. : Appearance : .
Height and Build: Z’ang is a large dragon male, standing 7’4” tall. His strong build and great height inspires fear in friend and foe alike.
Description: Z’ang’s surname, Seka-Manh, describes his lack of a second horn. A stump of bone grows from where his second horn should grow, its top filed flat. His other horn is of a normal length, and is completely white, save for a wide band of black near its base. His horns grow above and to the outside of small yellow eyes. The Mountain’s neck flows into its place between wide shoulders, leading to his toned torso. The muscles that make up his chest, back and stomach form a series of peaks and valleys. The tanned skin of his arms and legs is stretched tight over muscles strengthened from years of hard labor.
Clothing: One Horn wears clothing as befits a lower-middle class dragon. His clothes are simply cut, and sewn for durability. The browns and grays of his clothing hide years of dirt and grime that just cannot be washed out.
When journeying Z’ang travels armed and armored. He wears a padded cloth gambeson with holes for his wings to protect from the blunt force generated by his plate armor. Articulated metal loops for a breast- and backplate, likewise with holes for his wings. Steel faulds hang to mid-thigh over greaves of solid steel. Steel bands wrap around his lower legs, leaving his feet bare. Solid steel plates protect his arm, and he wears no helm.
Weapons: Z’gen-Ghide (Grave News or Bad News) is Z’ang’s signature weapon. The weapon is a greatsword of remarkable proportions. From the bottom of the pommel to the tip of the blade the weapon is seven feet long. The fifteen pound weapon is beautiful in its simplicity. The blade is the Draconic equivalent of Damascus steel, and shows deep blue swirls over a gray background. Black boar’s hide gives his hands grip on the foot and a half long hilt. The cross guards mimic the blade, with blue rings wrapping around their length. The large tear-drop pommel is set with a pure sapphire.
Other: The Mountain wears a wide belt of braided leather from which hangs several pouches containing various items.
Impression: Z’ang is a large Dragon bedecked in steel and carrying a massive greatsword. What more is there to say?
. : Heritage : .
Age: 98
Birthplace: Kragamer (Seagard), a fort on the island Kensena.
Family: Z’ang is the sole son of Dregh-makh Thaleman and Sehra-dregh Hrathgera, middle-caste dragons ashamed of their mute son. He has two sisters, but they were born after he left.
Inheritance: While he once may have inherited everything the his parents owned Z’ang now owns only the clothes he wears and the things he carries, afforded him by his parents, for his “bravery.” He has learned the arts of combat from a human man he met in his exile.
Other: Z’ang is the dragon equivalent of a human bastard. He has nothing to his name, and none of the connections of his parents.
. : Persona : .
Biography: Born a mute dragon 98 years ago, Z’anginthel became the shame of his family. With no voice he could never become strong in magic; never advance his rank. Z’ang was kept separate, and named his father’s bastard, to hide their shame. Z’ang lived his childhood as a bastard does, kept from the limelight, his victories never praised.
When he came of age, he was given a choice: continue his bastard’s life in dragon society, or live in exile, and perhaps make a name for his self. On the very next day Z’ang rose early, bade his family farewell with a wave, and left. With contact between dragons and humans and elves now fully open at this point Z’ang traveled without hindrance, but with many odd looks.
During his travels, The Mountain came across several human men who named themselves “Sir,” and went about in glittering armor and with squires by their sides. One Horn decided that by becoming a knight he would earn a name for himself. His pouches jangling with gold, One Horn hired the skills of an armor smith and apprenticed himself to the man to help cover the costs. Even after the suit was completed Z’ang worked for several more years, garnering money to then hire his tutor for the blade.
Years have passed since then, filled with training and traveling the kingdoms seeking work for a worthy Knight-Errant. Unfortunately, they were few and far between. It was during this time Z’ag lost his second horn to a bandit lord. The Mountain know holds a pass in the southern Blue Mountains.
Motivation: Z’anginthel’s primary drive is to make a name for himself. A second motivation is his roughshod sense of honor.
Skills and Talents: Z’ang is a mute, but knows how to read and understand the human and dragon languages, and knows passing Elvish. He can write fluently in dragon, decently in human, and not at all in Elvish. Z’ang is a skilled combatant with his weapon of choice, and can wield the weapon in several ways, including halfswording.
Strengths: Z’ang is a formidable combatant and an excellent friend otherwise. He is also gifted with the ability to listen.
Weaknesses: Z’ang’s lack of speech denies him a dragon’s birthright, magic. He is also willing to throw himself into the jaws of death itself to earn an honorable name for himself.
Personality: Z’ang runs on his own sense of honor. His sense of right and wrong is basic; almost childish. Despite the immaturity of his honor system, Z’ang is a loyal friend, willing to offer advice and counsel, and an ear to listen. Z’ang loses all inhibitions during combat, throwing himself into the fray without batting an eye. He has given up the dragons’ caste-system, and now follows the human religion.
