NCIS
No, I'm not talking about the real NCIS guys, I'm talking about the show NCIS, that's regularly on the the USA channel.
I know it's pretty inaccurate, as all shows are that need evidence, and as such, has to get results almost instantly. Despite the rather needed flaw, it's a pretty entertaining show, with believable characters and the like. Just figured I'd get my opinion out there and see what others thought of it.

I Abby & Duckie
Not much else for me to say other than that. I only catch clips of it here and there, I don't think I've ever seen a full episode...

Re: NCIS
You haven't? I suppose that means you don't know anything about Jenny and La Grenouille? too bad, I felt that was one of the more exciting plot-lines :p
And yeah, I like Abby and Ducky too, especially when Ducky goes off on one of his stories

Re: NCIS
Holy crap I just watched that last night! I also watched kick-capital-A marathon last week. I think I like NCIS more than I like the original CSI (which, in my opinion, is the better of the three CSI's); and that's saying a lot on my part, because I've been a CSI fan since whenever.
My favorite character would be Denozo (or however you spell it) because he's always the one causing trouble. But when it comes time to take the reigns as second-in-command of the team, he does a fine job. I also laugh at his pranks on Duckie.

Dinozzo, that's how it's spelled :p I'm a CSI fan too, but..meh, it's just sort of lacking something, I'm not sure what, compared to NCIS. Maybe it's the fact that NCIS threw some humor into it as well
As for Dinozzo's pranks...yeah, they're pretty awesome at times. I haven't seen many of them, mostly I see him getting smacked in the back of the head by Gibbs for doing or saying something dumb, at least by Gibbs-standard.
You know, Dinozzo took over as leader of the team for a while, when Gibbs was in Mexico.

Abby is my t.v. counterpart! I love that show! And, Ziva! Oh my god she kicks some serious ass. Duckie is my favorite guy, and then McGee.

Ha, Ziva does kick numerous amounts of ass, hell, she could kick my ass.
I'm wondering Inerio, what plotline did you like the best?

Re: NCIS
Oh god, I can't choose one plotline or series.
But, I liked the episodes where Abby got stalked, McGee's sister was a suspect, and when Tony had to watch Duckie's mother.

Re: NCIS
Tony had to watch Ducky's mother? Ha, that's hilarious!
I suppose my favorite would have to be...hm, god, you're right, it is so hard to choose.
I would have to say the one where Gibbs had been in an explosion, on that boat, and lost his memory.

I've watched episodes with my mom now and then, and I must admit it's a very good show. The characters in particular are excellent in my opinion, since they compose such a diverse cast of personalities. I'd say my favorites are Gibbs and Abby. I can relate to Gibbs' cynical attitude, and occasionally I'll say something that Mom says sounds exactly like him. And who doesn't like Abby? She's such a fun character, yet she has astounding wit and intellect when it comes to forensics.

Re: NCIS
As I said earlier, Abby and Gibbs are pretty cool characters. Well, I didn't talk about Gibbs, but he's obviously cool since he leads all of them!
I especially liked how other sides of their personality were fleshed out when...
WARNING, MAJOR, MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD
Kate got killed by Ari. It showed how much that she had affected all of them by being in their lives, and then suddenly being gone.

Re: NCIS
I never liked Kate anyway. She was so whiny. Ziva is so much better.

Re: NCIS
Ziva pwns Kate so hard that Kate is feeling it in her grave. That's right I said it! But really Ziva is much more interesting.
Abby is mine and Amanda's favorite so much so that Amanda wants to name our first girl Abigael. I;m going along with it because I really do like that name.
Oh and Jenny didn't like her AT ALL. When Kate died I was a little sad, but when Jenny went all I could think was THANK GOD! I could be alone in that though.

Re: NCIS
Huh...correct me if I'm wrong, but was it the 5th or 6th season that had an all new team? Of course, Gibbs was still leading them, but still...
Also, how in the heck did that work out anyways?

Re: NCIS
Well with out being a major spoiler, I will just say that after Jenny was killed at the end of Season 5, (Thank god.) Vance sent Ziva back to Israel, Magoogle (yes I said Magoogle :-p) was put in charge of a computer/cyber division of NCIS and Tony was sent off to a Destroyer I believe. But the first episode it is revealed that this is all a ploy by Director Vance to root out a mole in NCIS with each member of the new team a suspect.
After the mole was discovered (or were they?) the old team came back. Hope that clears thing up for ya Rag.

Re: NCIS
One of my favorite episodes involved a boy scout who was found out to be an abducted child during a tour of NCIS and having his prints put through AFIS. What made it so enjoyable was he turned out to be a mini Tony. There is also another episode which involved a boy with similiar qualities to Gibbs.
There is also to be a spin off series debuting this fall taking place in LA. They ran a teaser two parter at the end of last season to introduce the characters.

Re: NCIS
I'll be honest I'm not looking forward to it. I fear if NCIS goes the CSI route and makes tons of spin offs. As much as I love my town of LA.

Los Angeles focuses on paramilitary investigators who hunt down especially dangerous criminals by using the latest whizbang technology, starring LL Cool J, Chris O'Donnell and Louise Lombard.

Re: NCIS
I've seen a couple episodes. Crime dramas aren't my thing, I guess I don't really care about them all that much. But I did love the characters. They're the only thing that made me watch more than one.
I never did learn their names...

Re: NCIS
Abby: Lab tech, bit of a goth
McGee: Computer nerd, but doesn't look like it. Also an aspiring writer under the pen name Tom E. Gemcity, or something like that
Gibbs: The tough, leader type that usually always has a coffee cup in his hands. Regularely hits Dinozzo in the back of the head
Dinozzo: Self-proclaimed ladies man :p enough said
Ducky: Coroner, often rambles on about stories
