You do realize that if you had refrained from posting, no one would have realized you'd made a blunder? However, by posting it, you're only adding to the idea that you're not all that bright. It's a good thing you don't seem to mind.

I doubt you're as stupid as you think you are. Everyone makes mistakes. However, if you want people to think you're stupid, go for it. That's your choice. I'm just saying that I personally try to maintain the idea that I have a fairly good amount of intelligence to my name.
